When the self becomes landscape.

Painted during dark February evenings, without light or warmth. Winter remains my favorite season, even when it turns especially cold and cruel. Harsh, unforgiving, and still beautiful in its own moments.

My last artwork of this year. Abstract, impressionistic, and alive with motion. It reflects facing something what cannot be named – a moment of standing still while everything else keeps turning. A quiet ending, before whatever comes next.

Inspired by walks through the streets of Budapest, I was enchanted by its gothic atmosphere. This piece is my attempt to capture the city’s mood, its veiled mystery, haunting beauty, and timeless architecture.
