Sean explains to us that shadow crystals are failed dreams, broken attachments, something that has the power of will, but without any hope behind it. They're practically useless on their own, but as we saw with Spamton, Jevil, and perhaps Maddie, they can give immense power.

Now, remind me again, what is Rory's sword made of? Oh yeah, Shadow Crystals. Hell, given how similar Rory's sword looks to Rory themself, they might be straight up made of pure Shadow Crystals. Or at least the weird orb thing that floats around whenever Rory's ass gets kicked.

I propose the Roaring Knight's sheer strength is literally drawn from the fact that these characters are unable to move on from Dess's disappearance. In other words, the Knight is not December, but the shadow that December left behind.

This also gives a pattern to the kidnappings the Roaring Knight has done: They targeted Toriel when she was about to move on from Tenna. They targeted Asgore when he was about to move on from his investigations into the dark worlds.

And given that Chapter 6 is taking place in the Holiday mansion, the Roaring Knight might either target Noelle or Carol after they finally move on. Or...the Roaring Knight might get even stronger from their grief over Rudy, the second Holiday lost, as well.

I know this is said 90 times a second, but Dark Worlds are a representation of escapism. The Roaring Knight is literally darkness incarnate. Sealing a dark world means moving on from that Dark World, that adventure you had. Sealing the Roaring Knight would mean...moving on from December.

The US had been the dominant world power for nearly three decades, and in that time has managed to exert political, cultural and even linguistic control on the rest of the world. Or at least it thinks it deserves to.

The phrase "It's called soccer" and any argument in favour of it will be seen as another part of this control on the world. Essentially, Americans are telling non-Americans: "You don't get to decide what the sport (THAT WE DON'T EVEN PLAY) is called, we do so!"

Of course you may argue "But that's not what I'm saying! And I'm not speaking on behalf of all Americans!" That's logically true, but in a cultural sense you're essentially making an argument in favour of American cultural dominance. Whether or not you want to, you're literally forcing an American word for a sport that is called "football" or a translation, or even a transliteration of the words foot + ball on the majority of the world. Go ahead, look up the etymology for that sport's name in the world's most spoken languages besides English.

This guy reminds me of Susie in the way he runs away from society and the home provided to him by a Dreemurr (in Susie's case that'd be Toriel) and instead isolates himself, not only from weakness, but from the refusal to change from that weakness.
