mostly because of course thereâs the concept of a Very Drunk gavin and geoff sitting around and gavin launching into hypotheticals and inevitably he says something along the lines of, âalright, but what ifâ what if we need to make a getaway.â
and geoff is like uh, we literally walk out the door like we always do.
but gavinâs got this terrifying I-Have-an-Idea look in his eye, and he says, âno, a real getaway. no evidence.â he makes a little explodey gesture with his fingers. âkill switch.â
and because geoff is Very Drunk, heâs entertaining the idea. âkill switch?â
gavin grins dangerously. âPlan B. Plan G.â
and so they design it, and they do it, the most apocalyptic, literal cleansing by fire ever to exist within two feet of their beds, and they donât tell jack because jack would rightly kill them both, and it is awesome.
and so iâm very pumped about that, but iâm also adoring the concept of michaelâwonderful, observant, shoot-first-ask-questions-never michaelâfinding The Button one day because of course he does, and he calls out, âthe fuckâs this button for?â
and geoff freezes and very calmly says, âdid you press it?â
âyeah,â michael says, like duh, like obviously. âwhatâs it do?â
âuh,â geoff says, and then the air catches on fire.
(he and gavin try to get by with golly gee i had no idea that would happen, but jack just says theyâre gonna fucking wish they died back there, and michael laughs about it for ten years)
