Here in the Philippines, it’s considered cowardly to have a teammate roam to your lane. It does not matter which lane or when. People just call you cowardly. Especially the solo lanes (Top and Mid). So I respond with this: I know I won’t win with all engages and exchanges that may happen during the laning phase. I don’t willy nilly just keep fighting you like it’s gonna be a guaranteed win. Why do I know this? It’s because I think. I plan. I let you push the wave and then some. And don’t you dare respond with this whole “you coward. You only rely your jungler/teammate.” Bullcrap. Because this is a team game. You got teammates. Don’t be mad that I played with a smart mindset. In fact, If I wanted to 1v1 you, I can. All I need you to do is make a big mistake.

no idea how it came up, but my programming prof was talking about his friend who works for Nintendo Japan who’s secondary role is The Loud American, and my prof explained what that was and how it came about

see, in Japan you do not talk back to your boss. you just don’t, even if they have stupid ideas and want the company to act on them. Like Nissan did sometime back. But since the other employees couldn’t do anything about this terrible idea that would ruin the company, they called in an American who had no reservations about telling the boss that their stupid idea was a stupid idea
