While I was gone I came up with a variant on the English language that's exactly like I was used tousing prior to 2022 except "the bears" is now a code phrase meaning "the police" and vice versa

And believe me, the bears do NOT like having their systems tampered with for no reason

i love u characters who are victims who don't show things in a way that's appealing i love u characters whos trauma leaves them with anger issues, with violence issues, with issues with connection and trust and being truthful i love you characters who don't get "better" in a way that's palatable, who don't find growth and meaning in their trauma

i saw this shared like in the past week or so and i made like some flippant response at the time but ive kept thinking about it since then and even though i dont think or want to think of myself as some character in any narrative (and actively hate/am hostile to that concept) its still made me feel a lot more validated than anything has in a long time at this point

idk if you care or cared about mr mothafuckin exquire at all but there he released a tape (kismet or something i think?) that was pretty successful so he released a different version with a DJ afterwards
