Do you ever get hit with brainrot so bad you write a novel and draw a bunch of fan art when you’re supposed to be working on art fight refs

Here are some sketches from my story, SUN GONE??? NOT CLICKBAIT , some spoilers ahead, be warned!

I’ve really enjoyed working on this story, so ofc I had to draw for it! The designs for each of the characters changed so much since the inception of the story and now (now that it’s finished!!!) so some of these sketches look very different from each other. Sorry y’all

First: we’ve got the updated designs of the strike team that change as they over the course of their adventures. This is what they look like during the Daylight Massacre.

Second: just some sketches of some of the main characters, including my beloved Her Highness (who has the most unfinished design. Sigh). As well as a joke comic and some new designs for saki, akane and Rikka.

So part six is killing me so here’s some shitposts! Uhhh these were all tumblr posts that were reposted to Pinterest so be aware I’m not THAT funny but please enjoy!

Some notes: Anna acting like Rin is the only freak in their relationship is HILARIOUS bc she literally pulled a pad and paper out of her bra when asking Rin for her number. When Rin asked where her phone was Anna admitted she only used pay phones

Hi this part nearly killed me. But! We finally got to see what Rin and Nagisa are up to! Nagisa going to parties in a suit with slicked back hair has been in my notes for forever (by this point in her life, she’s more confident in her appearance and wears whatever she wants, feminine or masculine. Good for her!) Rin meanwhile just shows up to the party lmao. She already has a girlfriend, who’s she need to impress? And Anna!!! We finally get to see her as well..

Part two baby! The girls did appear, but sadly they did not say anything. We also got some glimpses of Miyuki and Yayoi (the best girls)!! I have… so many thoughts about them but unfortunately this story is from Akane’s pov and she is deliberately avoiding them so….

Miyuki, Yayoi, and Akane all go to the same boring high school, while Nao and Reika go to a fancier school on the other side of town. As such, expect slightly more Yayoi and Miyuki content than Nao and Reika. All of them are still friends, they all still care about each other, but Akane’s brush with severe injury left them all a little messed up. So if they seem a little off on occasion, that’s why. Their whole dynamic shifted after Akane’s arm got busted.

This au is overtaking me. Anyway here’s some extra lore bits that’s didn’t fit in the character sheets:

1. So Smile Precure’s insane growth spurt happens the years that Akane is in the hospital. As Akane is kinda in and out of consciousness that first year, it leads to her having grown like three inches whilst asleep, so her coordination is fucked. When she first starts physical therapy she trips over her own two feet so much that she almost injuries herself again. It was a rough year for the Smile Team. ( poor girls has insane growing pains and a bestie in the hospital. tragic)

2. Honoka and Nozomi actually study together! They’re not as close as Nagisa and Rin, but they are good friends now! Honoka is great at helping Nozomi study, because she’s been helping Nagisa study for years and Nozomi may get distracted easily but at least she actually wants to study.

3. So otona was kinda a mixed bag, but the idea of Saki wanting to study abroad to study baking is kinda everything to me? I’ve also lived in the city she wants to study in, it’s actually the place I watched splash star for the first time. It felt right. That said, fuck her marrying a random man, she and Mai have been together for years and have the healthiest dynamic out of everyone here. Saki’s the only one who will actually tell Mai what goes on in the damn theater.

4. It’s been a hot minute since I watched suite, but in my memory they were all dramatic bitches with crazy pressure on their shoulders and then Kanade. From Kanade’s pov it looks like they’re being shitty, but this is actually just because of some crazy misunderstandings. Hibiki in particular has a lot on her plate, and it’s not her fault Kanade didn’t make any new friends! Kanade smh you’re such an idiot <3

5. Mana still has no idea Rikka has a crush on her. It’s actually becoming painful to witness. Alice is very thankful that Rikka has a new project to keep her distracted.

6. Is the theatre haunted? Yes. Why doesn’t Akane think it’s haunted? The ghosts like her. They’re leaving her to her own devices because this is the most comedy they’ve had in years. The Sunbeam itself is on a magical fault line, so that’s why it’s such a creature hotspot, but there are ghosts sitting in the wings watching all these girls fuck up

I rise from the dead with a super self indulgent precure au! basically it’s my version of otona so no one is straight and there’s even less logic about what teams are in the story. After a time skip our girls are either in college or applying for college (in order to make the timeline make some sense in my head the girls with a sequel series are a year old than the others, so the max heart team and the yes team are in college, while the others are seniors in high school!) my babygirl hino akane has discovered this old broken down theatre and is going through a Crisis, so she seeks help from other girls who are in need of a distraction! They each have their reasons to do something separate from their precure teams and I might post something about those girls later, but mainly I just like having my favorite characters face their problems in a old magic theatre so…
