100 Days of Productivity Days 4-8/100

I definitely fell apart with posting for the past 4 days, but that’s because they’ve been a whirlwind. My betta fish died (his name was Harold, I loved him so much) and then I immediately went into tech for the comedy show I’m in right now. The show has been so much fun, it’s brought me closer to a lot of my friends and just been a really good time overall :’) Apart from that, though, I took my animal behavior midterm, and hopefully before the weekend is up I will have 2 papers written and finished a biology problem set!

100 Days of Productivity: Day 3/100

Today was so much fun! I reorganized my study space so I could focus a little bit better and shake things up, but the highlight was when my organism biology class went to the vernal pools in the woods to collect and look at some organisms! The ones in the picture are spotted newts (which I touched even though they have irritants on them, oops!) but we also saw some wood frogs, tadpoles, and even mallard ducks. I got to put on the waders and get knee-deep in the pond, and it was so nice. I love readings and problem sets, but the hands-on experience is my favorite part of college. Now I just need to finish my tectonics readings and start studying for my animal behavior midterm! <3

100 Days of Productivity: day 2/100

Today was not as productive as I was hoping, but that’s okay! I managed to finish reading a paper about chickadee calls for my animal behavior class, and I made a good start on my tectonics readings for the week. My campus is also finally off of lockdown, so tonight we celebrate by going to the grocery store to pick up some good food for the week!

Hi! I’m Sarah, this is my study blog! It’s mostly a space for me to remind myself why I love learning, I’ve been feeling extremely burned out from pandemic college recently so I’m hoping through this blog I’ll be able to keep myself accountable and find the fun I used to see in studying!

100 Days of Productivity:

Day 1/100: I’m studying for my animal behavior midterm today, I really enjoy the class but the professor doesn’t structure it very well so I never feel like I know what’s happening. I’m also catching up on some readings for my ocean biodiversity class, and treated myself to an iced chai latte while I work!
