I feel like I want to retire this blog because I feel uncomfortable with historical gameplay, generally I often get triggered by historical topics. I see too many blood and suffering in the first half of XX century related setting, honestly I feel that this blog doesn't match my personality anymore. I even deleted most of my old sims because I feel uncomfortable having and seeing them and I will feel uncomfortable cleaning up this blog and seeing them. I like appearance of some of my older sims but I dislike stories behind them

I don't blame anyone for enjoying historical setting - setting is just a frame, your stories and your opinions are way more important. So I will not delete this blog because some of my recolors could be useful for historical simmers (and people who like coats lol).

I don't want to finish simming, I found a new source of inspiration and I plan to start a new simblr with another concept that matches my current personality, not the personality I was 5-6 yrs ago. I definitely wasn't that smart personality and my visual inspiration sources could be way better and neutral. Maybe that means growing up?

Just recognized that war lasts a year. It's still hard for me to believe this. Well, my views somewhat changed after this year full of fear. I'm open to literally every person who isn't a nationalist and wants Putin out. I met amazing people in Russia who don't support the war. I was crying talking to them, looking into their eyes. Also I fell in love with our local ideas. I always had a feeling of regional identity but this year made me dreaming about living in a country separated from imperial Russia. Ingria will be free! ☺💛❤💙

Also this post is a shoutout for my Ukrainian followers and just random Ukrainians who read this. You are the heroes! I really admire your strength 💙💛

And some stuff about me again. I was absolutely powerless and depressed because of personal and political reasons. But I feel better and have some ideas so wait for some posts later

Late Night for TS3 because I fell in love with Bridgeport and its townies when I was a teen.

Get Together because of Windenburg. Most of my characters are European so it's very useful world.

7. How do you create/style your sims in CAS?

Usually I come up with random idea or get inspired by random (old) photo. I LOVE spending time in cas, sometimes I create the whole sim for less than an hour, sometimes it takes days or even weeks to pick the best version.

11. What type of pack are you hoping they make next?

Music bands. I made too many musicians 😂

14. Why did you decide to start a Simblr?

I wanted to share my sims and publish some random recolors.

I played the game yesterday and today! It was a competition between 8 female sims in Sulani. They fought, played bowling, woke the llama and did other stuff. I enjoyed their emotions, it was fun to create challenges for them. I want to repeat this competition with other sims and do more screenshots (some stages have video only). Idk, probably it could be interesting.

The winner of the first game is Asta (right sim from the first screenshot, also the third screenshot).

On the home front life went on as, seemingly, normal. For Irene little had changed, except now the house felt emptier during the day and the night. She devoted all her time to little Neil and his upbringing. In a way she was jealous of how oblivious he was to the world around him. He didn’t even know there was a war going on.

Without Elsie around Donny felt the loneliest he had ever felt. He needed a way to fill up his spare time, so he devoted himself to his piano playing, a skill his mother encouraged. He became quite proficient, especially for his age, but it was no replacement for his friend.

With the war raging and young men going off to fight Tony had no troubles finding a job and contributing to the war effort. He quickly rose to the top of the ranks and became a supervisor at an assembly plant, watching over dozens of workers, many of whom were women. The long hours took their toll though, and Tony seemed to grow older by the day.

Bitty continued on with her studies, though she found it difficult to focus on school when her brothers and friends and classmates were going off to fight. She wanted to help in any way she could.

David and JoAnna continued to see each other into adulthood. He began his medical training for the army and she got a job as a typist downtown. People they had gone to school with seemed to be getting married and having children every day, but David couldn’t see that sort of future with JoAnna. He enjoyed spending time with her and he liked going steady with her, but the thought of being married to JoAnna for the rest of his life made him uneasy. She was sweet and polite, but she was also a bit stuffy and uptight, and Dave knew he wouldn’t be happy being tied down to her. Their lives were so turbulent with training and work and war on the horizon, so David decided it would be best for both of them to just continue on as they were.

Hello, friends!

As you know, we live in hard times. People in Ukraine suffer and Russian government wants to hide it from Russian people. Today Russian government asked to block Twitter (already unavailable in Russia) and Facebook (still works for me now). I don't want to miss Simblr community and I hope that they won't block Tumblr.
