1. Ozai is sixteen the first time he bends something other than fire, or at least the first time anybody, including him, notices him bending something other than fire. In one of his rare meetings with his father, that ends predictably in a fight, he slams his hand down on a stone table, only for it to split in two, and for each half to go flying into the opposite wall.

2. Ilah was very old when she had Ozai, at least very old to be giving birth. She was almost fifty, and when she stopped bleeding, she thought she was menopausal, not pregnant. And he was a difficult birth, and there were no more Water Tribe healers to attend a Royal Fire Nation birth. It didn’t really surprise anyone when Ilah died three days later of a childbed infection. But Ozai was healthy and strong, and it seemed to the devastated Azulon that as his mother weakened, he took strength. He was born from her death, and Azulon never let him forget it.

3. So it should not be surprising that Azulon’s reaction to finding out his own son is the Avatar, isn’t joy, or even the coldhearted calculation of how useful he will be in the Fire Nation’s war of conquest. All he sees is the boy who has always been there to trouble and vex him, who killed his own much better loved mother, who is now shown to be the figure out of his father’s nightmares, the Avatar. Azulon immediately orders him locked away.

4. Iroh comes home from campaign to find his brother vanished and no one will say where. It is only by badgering his father that he learns the truth. He finds his brother chained down in a metal cage, drugged almost insensible.

The race is 22 miles long. It is shorter than a standard human marathon. This is so that it is fair to the horses. A typical marathon is 26 miles long. A healthy distance for a horse to undertake in a single day for the purpose of travel is between 20 and 30 miles, but only if they walk at least part of the way. The years a human runner has won the race, the weather has been hot, as heat also favors human runners.

Interestingly, if the race is only ten to fifteen meters, 30 - 45 feet, a human can also win against a horse, which takes longer than a human to get up to full speed.

There’s seriously a dead unicorn in Azsuna named Charlie. Next to him is a treasure chest that contains the item [Enchanted Sunrunner Kidney]. Nearby were two hostile unicorn rares, one reddish, one bluish, that didn’t drop anything of note.

Demon horns being broken halos from when they were angels. 

Here’s a visual representation of angels and demons.

I figure that as angels, their “horns” would glow when connected to become traditional halos. However, this blinds the angel with heavenly light, making the angel rely on God’s guidance.

Angels who break their halos become demons, and willingly grow their horns in obscure shapes so it won’t connect back into a halo. Because the halo no longer blinds them, demons can finally see but can no longer communicate with God for guidance – the light they once gave to heaven now belongs to them, hence demons being proficient with fire allowing them to see in the dark.

Extra notes on horns & halos:

Circular horns (Halos) are smooth and easy for God to “grab” like a chain.

The only way angels can break their own halos is through strong, direct, hard force; rebellious angels willingly fell from heaven, breaking their halos upon hitting our world’s surface. That’s why demons are called “fallen angels”.

The only thing that can hurt God and other angels is another angel, so the shattered remains of a demon’s old halo would be reformed into tridents and pitchforks commonly associated with the devil.

THAT’S THE POINT THOUGH.

They’re children.  They’re literally students sitting in class.  They’re 14, maybe 15 years old (I can’t remember which season specifically this is from).

That’s what grooming is.  An adult, who is fully aware of what they’re doing, taking advantage of a teenager or a child and manipulating them or brainwashing them because they’re too young to actually understand what’s happening.

Tiffany thinks he’s talking about gardening.  And even when Quinn is relating and thinking back on the story, she still doesn’t really understand what was going on.  It wasn’t until her older sister and mom could process the scene through their adult brains that consequences were had.
