#tangledtoberweek2025 week4: Change, challenge by @fixateandcreate . I've wanted some Varian core quote on my backback for quite some time. As the idea grew, it took the shape of a sew on badge. What caught me off guard is how the core quote change. . I've always thought it'd be "I'll make them hear me". The terrifying promise that I have the power within that you may not want to acknoledge and I will use it to make them hear me. This sentiment helped me understand some thnigs I'd been doing (mostly to let people know that I'm not doing okay) and asked for help directly instead. There's so much twisted me-power in this lyrics. . But the time went on, life keeps happening and I drifted more to "Dzisiaj na wszystko mnie stać" side. That's the polish translation for "Ready as I'll ever be" song title. In polish we don't have "as I'll ever be" phrase, so they have to translate it somehow different and it turned out stronger than the original ihmo. It means "Today I'm capable of everything" which sounds natural in polish. There's less will power here than in "Ready..." or "I'll make them...". It's still there but we add everything that happened before, everything that pushed us to this today and to what I'm about to do now. And it can be both positive or negative. And day by day, it felt more like home than "I'll make them...". . I want to send big THANK YOU to @fixateandcreate for the entire prompt list. You helped me get back in here, give me smoething to do during hard time irl and pushed me to actually made the badge that's been in my head for very long time. It's been fun!
