"Mary....?" Gunner started, though after a moment he realized the connection. The undead man wasn't stupid by any means, but being as old as he was, sometimes it could take a moment for the mental pistons to fire and make the correct connections.
"I am much older than that...." He said, brows furrowed together. He didn't reveal himself to many, but it seemed to be a common comparison. Sometimes he wondered if he had ever met this Mary and had never known it.
The touch didn't seem to bother him much at all. While it had been hundreds of years since his mother witch had passed, he had grown accustomed to invaded space from his first conscious moment. Even those that weren't her couldn't help themselves.... that or they ran away screaming not wanting to look at him at all.
"I am called Gunner.... It is the only name I remember, anyway."
"so am i, don't worry," lucas casually waves off the other's comment about being much older than mary's time. but it definitely intrigues him, meeting someone else who's possibly existed in this world for as long as he has.
"it's nice to meet you, gunner. now-" his attention returns to gunnar's torso & specifically where the bullet hit him, "we need to get you back to my place so we can take care of this," lucas insists, fingers hovering over the injury. "my flat is about a mile from here. can you walk that far, or should i woosh us over there?" the self-descriptive 'woosh' comment pulling a light laugh out of him.

It was most improper, scandalous even, Emma was a princess so her borrowing her maid's dress and sneaking down to the port nearest to the castle was bad enough.
Meeting a handsome stranger under an assumed name while at the port was clearly worse.
Still Emma smiled when the young lieutenant slid a bloom into her hair.
"Thank you, Sir." She said softly, gently touching the petals to make sure the flower was secure.
"It's lovely."
killian has rarely stepped out of line since he & his brother joined the navy, which includes leaving women to their own devices whenever in port (no matter how much they might be trying to gain any sailor's attention), but the lieutenant became immediately enchanted by the young blonde woman standing off to the side, seemingly content to watch passersby. so much so that killian wasn't fully aware of his actions until he was tucking the flower he'd snapped off a nearby shrub behind the lady's ear.
"apologies, my lady, but it seems i couldn't help myself," he admits, cheeks growing warm in embarrassment over the fact he lost control of himself for a moment. "are you in search of something, or someone specific?"
"you will not help." bailey told him pointedly. not that he was serious, but she was willing to play along. she occilated between being nervous she'd blow it and perfectly confident in her skills. the nerves really came from worrying she'd be too confident. "i assume there's other applicants, but those other applicants aren't me." she did have one hang up and it wasn't something she needed her brother's help with, but she wouldn't turn it down if he wanted to help. she was running out of time. "it's on monday. i have a blazer and pants, but no shirt. i need a shirt, this is not a blazer and no shirt kind of establishment."
he chuckles at her denial, not at all surprised by it. bailey's always wanted to do her own thing, & getting this job purely on her own merit certainly counts in that regard. "no, they aren't. whatever they expect, i know you'll blow them out of the water." brows raise at the request. "feel free to have a go at my closet, but you're maybe half my size, bay, not sure even some of my older shirts will fit. unless you're wanting that extra baggy look."

amelia usually asked for permission, but had felt like this would've been a missed opportunity. it also felt like it would've been too forced if she'd asked him to pose. after all he was more than a subject in her eyes. once she saw that smile from jordi though, she felt like she'd done the right thing. "photos, yes. plural," she couldn't help but giggle. "i can show you, if you ask nicely of course," amelia grinned as she pulled her camera back close to her. it wouldn't take much to show jordi the few pictures she'd taken anyways.
he knows asking nicely will get amelia to show him the photos, but that doesn't stop jordi from playfully lunging towards her, grabbing at the camera as he wraps an arm around her middle & flips her back over to the opposite side of the bed so she's pinned between him & the mattress. "is that nicely enough?" he grins, their noses brushing together.

there's no question that buck feels awkward as all else-- & no doubt it's obvious from the look on their face-- being the only kid-free parent in the studio, attempting to hide in the corner, out of the way. which clearly isn't working, as the next time they look up to watch the kids' class currently in session, the teacher (sloane, if they remember correctly) is watching them. with amusement, if the look on her face is anything to go by.
better than annoyance or any other emotion that could result in getting buck kicked out since they are the only one without a kid there. but there's no way buck is going to let arya try out a new class without checking it out theirself.
so they give a sheepish grin & awkwardly rub at their cheek as they get up from the insanely low-sitting bench & move towards the door, not wanting to cause a scene in case she does change her mind.

headcanon // nathan
more often than not, nathan’s nails are painted. usually courtesy of mike’s or shannon’s sisters, but sometimes he’ll do his own nails when he’s in the mood. they’ve been literally every color under the sun at this point, though he does tend to favor darker/more tinted colors.
btw isaac 100% refers to melissa & argent as mom & dad & he doesn't care in the slightest how the others feel about it. bc those are his parents. the ones that matter the most to him. & said it was about damn time when he found out about them finally getting together

shannon’s 3 most defining personality traits
extremely independent
extremely family-oriented
extremely hotheaded/stubborn
she doesn’t like to depend on anyone if she can help it, only going to nathan & mike when she doesn’t have any other options (which results in the pair of them wanting to strangle her because things are usually way out of control at that point, & could’ve easily been taken care of if she’s just asked for their help sooner). it’s one of the reasons why she doesn’t live with them & has her own apartment instead.
family is everything to her. everything from her own siblings & her best friends, to the families she works with every day, to whatever future family she might have. she absolutely wants to be a mother, but not until she finds the right guy that she considers worthy enough to be the father of her children.
once she’s made up her mind, it’s nearly impossible to try & change it. especially when it comes to helping someone else out; she isn’t going to stop until she fulfills whatever promise she made.

if it isn't obvious, luz is super fucking queer, & not at all subtle about it. they are so very vibrant personality-wise & aesthetically. one look at them & there's no doubt they're queer. loud fashion choices, ever-changing hair color & styles (with a lot of help from their shifter abilities), including facial hair choices (again, thanks to their shifter abilities).
clothing-wise, luz's fashion decisions change from day-to-day, based on how they're feeling gender-wise (or nongender-wise). one day they might be super femme & the next super masculine, or perhaps even a mix of the two (& not necessarily in an androgynous sort of way).

nathan's pupper, hans. a german rottweiler that he's trained since adopting him at the earliest recommended age. hans is a sweetheart & lover, but knows better than to come up to strangers without some sort of invite/acknowledgement. mostly thanks to shannon's hand in helping train him because of her own fear of dogs.
