gray clouds crowding, racing, blending into another... and for a moment, I glimpse at.... blue? could that be the hint of the sky beyond these stormy clouds? ... and I marvel. it's too easy to get swept up in the storms of life ... all we see are the gray foreboding figures, pushing the air we're trying to breathe right through us, chilling us to the bone. and we forget. the bright blue sky that exists beyond. the clear atmosphere, sun shining bright as it has for millennia, and will continue to do so... like God. He's always there. even when life's storms fill the space between us and Him. but He's there. solid. strong. sovereign. and the blue is just a little reminder that the clouds pass quickly. circumstances don't last forever. and the sun will shine a bit brighter to us because we stood and clung to the hope of His tomorrow. #februarystill #abundantinthelack

so.... i've got this critter who will follow the sun all day long, just to bask in the warm spot on the rug. it's his favorite thing to do. he feels secure and taken care of in the glow of the light that pours into the windows of our home.... may we lay aside the stresses and distractions of life, and follow the Son as He moves throughout our day, basking in His glow, warm and secure, knowing we are His and that's all that matters. #februarystill
