Life Lately: September
My life lately has revolved around taking care of this little boy, Malek. He's a princess type Shih Tzu. He has black hair with dark brown strands on the side and a stunning white chest hair. We've been working on his training, it's kinda hard to discipline a male dog though. I love that he's so sweet and cute and kind (except when he needs something to chew on, even my hands because of his teething). He cannot be left alone, especially when sleeping time. He would always squeeze in anywhere he could and is always so quiet. He loves grass! Itâs his favorite place to do a marathon. Haha! Heâs also a good traveler, may I just say, because he always accompanies me to work. (:

Hot Chocolate for 2
(A funny chocolate story)
Last night's agenda was watching my favorite teleseryes. Amidst the intense episodes of Pangako Saâyo and On the Wings of Love, I craved something sweet. I wanted to do some cooking. Some cooking for my sweet tooth. Then I figured I could make use with a cup of hot chocolate. I fiddled through our aparador of food and goods. I found myself holding a pack of cocoa powder ... it was in a small plastic stapled with a carton labeling that looks like something from last year's Christmas grocery. Our help said, "Tingnan mo yung due date, baka di na puwede." I was like, "Eeeehhh, yaan mo na!"
So, the silly olâ masterchef in me did it again, I tried cooking something.
Life Lately : June x July x August
When it rains, it pours.. Same as my life for the past three months. These photos can't even give justice to how much I've done and have been to in almost a hundred days.
June. We were on a month-long journey to Europe. Together with my family, we explored UK and some countries of the European Union. Everything was fantastic! A month-long holiday is not enough. I repeat, n o t  e n o u g h ! Food was great, though I had acid reflux amidst our holiday because of the ENDLESS SERVING OF BREAD! Ugh! Anyway, I really liked people from London. They're very polite and well-mannered. I fancied everything about them and their lifestyle, the way they dress, walk and speak. They are very fast-paced, if I must tell you. They walked as though they're always on a hurry! Hhm. We got on our tour when we left London. It was bound for Italy which did pass through Paris, Geneva, Cannes, Monaco, Pisa, Montecatini, Florence, Venice and Rome. We went on a side trip for the places we wanted to visit that weren't included on the tour: Germany, Belgium & Amsterdam.
July. Now my body clock's messed up! It took me a week to get back on my normal sleeping routine. I wasn't able to come to work because I'd be sleeping in all day. On the second week of July, I started this DMC training at Petron in Mandaluyong. It lasted 3 weeks, which consumed all of July; 9 hours a day and 5 days a week. Social Life = 0. But, I gained friends!
August. Back to my regular life + the storms. I enjoyed dressing up for this month because it involved laidback-waterproof outfits. I love having to wear caps, different kinds of jackets, jeans and sneakers. Some Sundays, me and the boyfriend escaped the busy cities and drove up to Tagaytay, not knowing that we'll be welcomed by the tingling fog. Another reason for a happy August is our second year of being together. Our celebration this year was simple because we had work. We just had dinner, funny conversations and spied on this celebrity who was in the same place we were eating at. Lastly, my mom suddenly enrolled me to this 2-day Bread Making course at GalaStars Culinary. Little did I know about bread making nor baking. And I hate it because I can't even perfect some Just Add Water recipes from supermarkets! Now I want my mom to convert this place at our house into a room for baking only. Haha!
Weekend Haul
Last weekend was crazy. Events were everywhere plus itâs a payday weekend! There were 3 events at world trade center (bazaar, car show and a computer brandâs launch), CloseUp Forever Summer and UFC at MOA, then a fun run at Alabang ... thatâs for Saturday only ... so traffic was everyfuckinwhere! On top of that, it was fuckingly scorching hot that day! Anyway, here are my haul over the weekend.

DIY Notebook Pocket
Last nightâs craft was this notebook pocket which was inspired by my Starbucks planner. Iâm gonna use this notebook as a journal for my Europe vacation. I wanted pockets in it so that I can insert papers, maps and tickets in an organized manner. I just hate slipping various papers in random pages of journals. This project is easy to do because you donât need to buy the materials needed, everything can be found at anyoneâs household.
Materials:
1 Notebook (Hard Cover)
2 Construction Paper (Or old magazine covers, old folders)
1 Scissors/Craft Knife
1 Glue/Super Glue

Sushi Ninja Westgate, Alabang May 9, 2015
The best sushi so far! I must commend their Okinawa Toshi Sushi and  Spicy Salmon Salad. I didn't much like their Iced Tea cause it was mixed with vanilla essence. But overall, this place is great if you are craving for a legit sushi experience. Plus, I liked the quick serving! (Realized that if youâre extremely hungry, go for a Japanese restaurant and order Miso soup & Sushi cause itâs easy to prepare.)

Scratch Pad
Remember when you were a kid, you'd color a paper with all the colors then top the whole of it with color black, the draw anything by means of scratching? Well, now there's a pad for that!
It comes with a wood stick with a pointed end (it's for the scratching part). All the pages of the pad are black and under it are the marvelous mixture of colors.
Nuvali Night Sky Cinema: OPEN AIR CINEMA ONE May 1, 2015 Sta. Rosa, Laguna
I need your advice. anong gagawin mo kung malaman mong nambabae tatay mo?
This is surprising. Well, itdepends. I am not a confrontational person so I think I can't confront him. Maybemy first resort is to tell my siblings about it. It's important to share this issuewith someone you can trust and relate to. Second, I'll observe my parents'behavior. It will be recognizable if something's different. A wife willprobably be more protective and curious if she senses a rat on the loose. Youknow the saying, "always trust a woman's instinct." Now if there isno peculiar behavior from the mother then maybe she has no knowledge of it (andthe father is a good pretender). What I'll be doing now is to open up to mymother. I can't directly open up to my father cause the issue is between myparents, children is always the second subject in this issue. So I, or togetherwith the siblings, shall tell the momma what we know and let her handle thesituation. (And support your mother no matter what.)
Most kids who are victims of thisunpleasant incident tend to act rebellious. Please, don't. Instead, use this asan inspiration to be a better person than him. Yes, it has been admitted thatit is in men's nature na mang-babae, but this is not an excuse to become likethem. Make it a lesson to be careful and witty on choosing your partner. Or,contemplate on it.. Everybody makes mistakes, but in every mistake you make, you are hurting others.. You don't want to be the reason for other's heartacheright?
I hope this helps you anon! MyAsk is always open for you :)
OPM is not dead!
19 East Bar and Grill Kamikaze x Urbandub 15th April 2015
I grew up with OPM. Pinoy music was my soundtrack when I experienced puppy love, when I had happy times with friends and my afternoon past time as I watch MYX. Anything a band played, back in the days, was cool and sensible.
So last week I managed to push myself through the standing crowd of 19 East Bar. We were in a hurry going there because it was a little bit past 9 and the main act might have started before we get there, but nooooo. There were four front acts before Kamikazee and Urbandub. I must say, these bands were really great and does have potential. They might save today's OPM from being jeje and nonsense. The front acts that night were: Even, Nyctinasity, Talata & Vie. My favorites among them were Talata and Vie.

Review: Kid Kulafu (2015)
Director: Paul Soriano Writer: Froi Medina (screenplay) Casts: Buboy Villar (Emmanuel Pacuiao), Alessandra de Rossi (Dionisia Pacquiao), Cesar Montano (Sardo Pacquiao) Running Time: 120 mins. Synopsis: Kid Kulafu is a biopic sports drama film about the childhood of one of the world's greatest boxers, Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao. He spent his juvenile years surviving the hard life with his family. They left the mountains of Bukidnon and tried their luck to settle at General Santos City. Manny discovers his natural talent for boxing with the guidance of his Tiyo Sardo. Having been scouted at Gen. San., Manny left everything behind and flew to Manila with hopes of becoming a champion. Rating: â â â â â
Kid Kulafu is worth your time & money if youâre a great Pacquiao fan. Itâll make you more appreciative of our boxing champ. Another, bravo for the filmâs perfect Cinematography. It was really nice to watch. I loved the actors/actresses adaptation to their own characters, they caught the accent and the facial expressions, itâs like they've been possessed by the characters they portray. But donât expect it to be a heavy drama kind of movie, instead picture it as a chill, spontaneous movie that just gives its purpose.
Trivia: Kid Kulafu was 3 years in the making. And it was supposed to be entered for the MMFF last year. But God timed the movie to be released close to the date of our boxing champâs most awaited fight.
Another trivia: Kulafu or âVino Kulafuâ, back in the days, was Philippineâs most popular Chinese wine named after a legendary Filipino jungle hero, the brand has become a byword in Visayas and Mindanao. It is most appreciated for its 14 authentic Chinese botanical herbs and health benefits. [src]
Life Lately â April
April has been scorching hot, it even murdered all our room air conditioning units. Which then forced me to sleep in a sports bra for a week âtil mom decided we sleep in our guest room (which has a working human refrigerator). Anyways, April mostly is beating the hell out of my pocket but... itâs fun so whatever.
Tried this Mint-Chocolate flavored Chips Ahoy, which I pretty much didnât like. Hehe, trust me, Iâm crazy over cookies and this one right here is not doing itâs purpose. Letâs just say we should leave the Mint-Chocolate tandem to the ice cream makers.
Iâve been dipping in and out of the pool lately because of the unbearable heat. But too much chlorine and water is causing my skin to dry and be itchy. #Life
I went to Up Dharma Downâs gig at 19East just to hoard these good stuff. If only we werenât too tired, we wouldâve watched and listended to their good music. Sad.
19East bound again for one of Kamikazee & Urbandubâs last gigs. Yep, theyâre disbanding this year so make sure to watch out for them throughout the year.
I had a 3-day workshop on Meta-Coaching at Podium Mall, Ortigas. Yes yes yes, Iâm still interested in learning. Ha ha. And I still plan to study further more. I plan to study 2 more short courses this year.
So I captured this photo in Alabang. I find this scenario disturbing. I feel like this boy has made the highway his playground.
Iâm having a fetish for clouds lately. Everytime I look up at the sky, I canât help but to appreciate and wonder over Godâs beautiful creation. Everyday it gets more amazing.
Iâm sick! I have cough and cold. But tea and lemon is doing a great job in making me feel better. Sounds weird, right? Having colds in summer.
Since the day he started at work, we donât and canât have time for ourselves. Sunday is our only option. Itâs frustrating cause we were used to having all the time we want when we were still studying or during our post-graduate days. On the other side, itâs not so bad tho because we get to have money for  our selfish wants. He he.
