It's already been documented that their first introduction to self-hate was by their own black ass father. Mind you, that man had heavily afro-centric features except for his hazel eyes and knowing Soulaani/Black American history - it's likely a lot of American-born, non-ambiguous Black people receive recessive genes from European/Indigenous family members. Hell, my mother's bloodline is a prime example.

Outside of the Jackson family, there's always been self-hatred in the black community and this outrageous hierarchy of "the lighter you are, the more beautiful and successful you are. The darker you are, the less you matter." It's been showcased when the Trans-Atlantic slave trade was active, and it's still a mentality that many are taught as of 2026. I'm not sure where this disbelief is coming from.

When black artists, including Michael, decided to experiment with the pop genre, guess who were the first to denounce their blackness and consider them as 'sell-outs' and 'house slaves'? The black community. Mind you, at this time, folks were born and old enough to witness the era that black artists were dominating and had created the mainstream love of country AND rock music. After white people continued to steal songs over and over again, black artists began to restrict themselves to one genre, and that was rhythm and blues. Then, from there, we created a sub-genre known as soul music.

Now, reverting back to how quick the black community is to exclude black people for breaking racial barriers, this makes black artists easy for white label executives, white celebrities, and white fans to manipulate, as well as showcase these artists to their friends; meanwhile, the black community is too busy demonising and isolating them. Are there black celebrities who willingly sold out? Absolutely, and yet, those artists are ones that the black community tends to either ignore or half-ass their hatred. And this is a behaviour that is still showcased in today's generation.

The eldest Jackson children - Tito's children specifically - will recall and have publicly spoken about the continuous discrimination and blatant racism of living in Encino. Those folks didn't back down until they realised that they were the Jackson 5, and even then, most of that community didn't genuinely respect the family unless they could gain something from them. It's a taught, generational mindset that white people tend to be raised in. For Joseph, let's be honest, this definitely stroked his ego, and he used this momentum to sell his children out to this community.

When you're living in a community where very few black people exist, some folks will date their neighbours and their classmates who end up being white, or asian because a lot of white communities solely accepted racial groups like them out of fetishism and to exclude chances of non-white communities building union. So, you can't be mad when those high school sweethearts become married and have children. Even to this day, there are predominantly white neighbourhoods with a small percentage of non-white residents. The only difference is that those residents have a better chance of graduating from high school and moving off to HBCUs and PWIs that have a fair percentage of black students.

So, with this being said, the black community has a very, very bad habit of isolating, policing, and betraying one another. The Jackson family and their decision in romantic partners is not completely on them; the black community, old and young are also to blame for this. Y'all make jokes out of Joseph's abuse of his children and even use the Flo Milly song on Michael edits with the lyric: Beat a nigga ass, feeling like Joe Jackson.

Not to mention, before and after the Tina Turner movie, What's Love Got to Do With It, y'all turned her abuse into a continuous and tiring meme. You've used Ike Turner's blatant disrespect and abuse of Tina as references in jokes and behaviour towards people you're supposed to be partners with. That's why she ran to Europe. Unlike Diana, Tina went where she was appreciated until the end of her life, and she was able to find peace while y'all still find humour in her abuse.

Then, let's double down, y'all let Beyonce take advantage of y'all every fucking year. There are better artists, big and starting, who actually care about the black community and refuse to align themselves with parties that not only relish in the damage to our communities but see nothing wrong with Israel's war crimes that have been broadcast since what? 2025?

Hell, y'all lost your minds when her mother went down to Houston and sold y'all some shitty gumbo that she tried to play off as if she made that shit. When Beyoncé dropped her Renaissance documentary in Israel during the bombings on Gaza, nobody said shit. When she wore that shirt about the Indigenous tribes and the buffalo soldiers, everyone showed their asses and supported her - mind you, if y'all really knew wtf happened and/or have family members who were a buffalo soldier [which I do], y'all would know that she was wrong as hell for wearing that shirt.

Y'all continuously entertain bullshit debates about the allegations against Michael, which were acquitted of, but when Drake's bullshit and Lil Wayne's tracks show up, no one blinks a fucking eye. Y'all focus on the assault Chris Brown did to Rihanna cause she's your fave, but y'all neglect the documented behaviour he executed towards Karrueche and even the mothers of his children. On top of that, he was very blatant about his colorist views on dating and covered it as his 'preferences', yet mfs stood up for the shit.

Y'all wanna demonise and criticise the people who never left the community and their roots in the shadows, fighting for human rights and betraying the animalistic nature of Hollywood. But you are quick to worship and idolise the ones who will throw you off the boat if it means that they get money, power, and recognition.

A mf, like Beyonce and Jay-Z, will align themselves with abusers, thieves, and Jiggaboos but then turn around and make lyrics about how the community is tearing itself apart and how we need to come together as people. And you guys eat up every fucking time. When other black artists tap into Country music, y'all isolate them and claim them to be white as if the entire Soulaan demographic ISN'T FROM THE DAMN DEEP SOUTH WHERE YOU CRAFTED THE GENRE.

But Beyonce comes out with a country album, gets a fucking Grammy, and now all of a sudden y'all wanna tap in with your "roots" that you spent so long denouncing AND making fun of all because this woman made an album and mind you, production-wise the album wasn't just country - it was mixed with Hip-Hop and Pop. And the young black ladies who really do country music did the background vocals on Blackbirds, talking about some "it'll bring more publicity to them".

Guess what? Y'all don't be fucking with those amazing, talented women. How tf are you to gain more publicity if you're only used as background vocals?? But Shaboozey gets actual verses IN 2-3 FUCKING SONGS.

And let's not get into how quick Black women had idolised white celebrities like Chris Evans because they dated ONE black girl, just to act surprised when he not only got married to a much younger woman who he allegedly treats like shit after she had his child but he married a racist and homophobic woman at that - which is quite ironic for a man who spoke against the Trump administration.
