Can you draw V!Owen and V!Scott just chilling and being friends? They were one of my favorite duos honestly and in my head Scott could've felt like Louis in his kinder moments

Scott would never like her in a romantic or sexual way, but she's still his, that's his roommate, his silly little cryptid researcher, the first person he got attached to in centuries(maybe ever), he's not giving her up due to something as silly as lack of attraction

For Shelby, Scott is also the most consistent person in her life, having been there from the beginning of the series to the end, and is likely the first person in years to give her affection and attention. That's her roommate, the one who wants to spend eternity with her, one of the first people to actually WANT her around

Of course she fell into her found family fantasy. She was desperately lonely, having no friends, a missing father, and a mother who rejected her. Had her faux family been born within the town, she would’ve stuck with them no matter what. It just so happened that the people who accepted her the most bluntly and the quickest were the vampires.

Sure, she befriended Drift and Avid. But Scott’s the one who said “I like you.” Scott’s the one who “wanted” to be her roommate. Scott’s the one who fits into the father archetype with the most ease; he’s the head of the family, he loves his daughter, when Shelby and Pyro lie to him he’s “disappointed” (as if he’s “not mad, just disappointed”.)

He was everything she wanted, whether she knew it or not. The adoptive father who loves his child. The very thing she lost. It was all molded to fill a void that had been taking space inside her for far too long. Affection is addicting when you’re starved for it.
