Dear Akali aka Aella aka Wifey ,

   Truthfully, before we met and started talking I was very intimidated by you. I don’t really know what it was. Well, that’s a lie. I do. It’s because you carry yourself with such confidence and this aura that the entire world could come at you and it would mean nothing. You could take on anyone and everything and never be hurt by any of it. And believe it or not, that is insanely intimidating. Especially to a soul such as myself, one who is basically nervous by instinct. But over time I have come to find that we are opposites, yet opposites in the best possible ways. You are strong where I am weak and I am positive where you are negative. In whatever way we even each other out. We make up for one another's downfalls and weaknesses. At least that’s what you do for me, seeing as whenever we talk I always feel like I can somehow conquer the world with little to no fear of the consequences. Because of all of these things, my reluctance turned into friendship to adoration to love.  

   I know that sometimes you have trouble seeing the good in yourself, or the upside to the darker moments. That sometimes you devlove so much into yourself that you feel like there is no way out of the hole you’ve managed to fall into. But that is why I am here and will always be here. I will always see the good and positive in you; even during your darkest moments. I will always remind you that there is never only darkness at the end of the tunnel (even if horror movies would like to make us believe otherwise). And I will always be here to listen to any thoughts that you feel like sharing, so long as you know and understand that those feelings and thoughts will always remain in our safe space. So don’t ever hesitate to lay your weak moments on me, because I will always be here to return to you some of the strength that you have provided to me. To see the best in you even when you don’t see the best in yourself. And to remind you just how strong and amazing you are. I just hope that I am able to give you as much in return that you always unknowningly give to me.

Dear Daehyun,

     What to say? I feel like once this letter starts it might never come to an end. We both know that I have a penitence for rambling on and on, sometimes even repeating the very same thought five different ways and still somehow feeling like it’s been left unsaid or neglected. You don’t mind, though, do you? I surely hope not since I have the tendency to always do it whenever we’re talking, or when I am in fact writing you a letter. Wow does this sound like I’m talking to myself or what? Let’s move on from the awkwardness before I officially make this whole process seem like something far more complicated than it really is. Because, how can writing a letter to a dear friend be at all complicated? It can’t be, or shouldn’t be at the very least.

Dear Mao,

     Hello, my beautiful little sunspot! I hope that you are doing well? I don’t think I have ever written you a letter before, but surprise! There are always firsts for everything, right? And what better to show my appreciation to you then by writing you a letter! 

     First and foremost, I want to thank you for always giving me the subtle push of motivation that I need. Especially when it comes to times of my hibernations and hiding away, as I tend to do often. Blaming my introvert way of being for that little issue. Well, my moments of introversion that mix in with my general extrovert way of being. –  Whatever the case, I know that you will always be excited to have me around and feel my presence in your life, no matter how far away that presence might be at times. I hope in the coming days that we can become more and more familiar with one another and create a lasting bond! And when I say that I truly mean it! I think you and I probably have more in common with one another than we have even yet to find out! Hopefully though with time and lots of patience on your end for all of my slowness, we can get there!

Though pouting does work in my favor when it comes to getting out of things. ❞ Features brightening as her hands continues to rub her cheeks, hoping that they don’t stay too red. Otherwise, someone will end up thinking she was crying or something else silly. With a shake of her head, both hands drop down to her sides as she proceeds to pout; showing the other exactly what she means. The gesture is half-hearted as she can barely keep the smile from tugging at her lips. ❝ What about you? I’m sure that you could get away with all sorts of things. Being as beautiful and talented as you are. ❞
