rei hummed quietly to herself as she walked the building in search of akali. it was getting down to the wire for her comeback, and she still hadn’t handled an important piece of it--the choreography for her title song. the song had been finished for at least a month, but she had one choreographer quit on her without much notice, and she just didn’t have the time to create it herself. her decision to ask akali wasn’t too hard--seeing how akali was one of the strongest (if not the strongest dancers) among tqe lineup--the only thing was actually finding her, and finding her in a good mood. rei found the younger girl posted against the mirror of one of the practice rooms. she knocked lightly on the door to get her attention, and once she had it, she wasted no time getting to her point. “my comeback is on the 2nd. i need someone to choreograph my title song, you think you have enough time in your schedule to do it for me? you know, i wouldn’t ask so late if i had other options, but ya know...people like to fuck you over sometimes.” she snorted, rolling her eyes as she tucked a lock of hair behind her ear. the thing rei appreciated most about akali was she wasn’t a bullshitter. whatever you saw or heard, was whatever she felt--and rei was just like that. they didn’t do respectability politics, no sugar coating. whatever it was for them, was what it was gonna be. so, rei knew her answer was gonna be straight and come quick, just how she preferred it.
