okay but can we get some lighthearted, careless, fun atlas moments too? im talking like snowball fights. like jaune decks ruby in the back of the head with one and suddenly theres a battlefield in the snow. weiss makes a bunker. blake and yang have a half-assed ice wall theyre ducking behind. nora hits blake in the face with such force that she stumbles off her feet and yang catches her, and in some fit of dramatism just starts wailing “blake…no…she was so young…how will i go on” and blake’s just playing along bc she thinks yang’s cute and then yang goes “maybe true love’s kiss can save her” and starts leaning in teasingly. blake grabs a handful of snow and smacks her in the head with it before their lips meet which yang fully expects because they haven’t actually kissed yet. ruby screams “stop flirting!” and they laugh. yang pulls her off to the side, tugs her back against her chest and wraps her arms around blake’s waist. they’re content to watch. the war rages on
