“Anything that involves my brother concerns me. You might have a hard time tracking him down, he’s on a strictly fun diabolical mission to be an asshole. In translation, his humanity’s off. I’ll tell you the rest later. What do you want with him?”

“Great. Never mind, I’ll come back in a few decades.”

❛ I don’t really care how people remember me. ❜ Qetsiyah stopped just short of rolling her eyes. ❛ So when a year passes, you’re suddenly going to decide you’re ready to turn it back on? ❜ She didn’t particularly care what Caroline did or didn’t do, but her certainty of that was somewhat amusing, somehow.

              “Yes I have.” And here again, Caroline was still being difficult. “Why do you want him?”

              “Conversation, entertainment.” Not particularly the latter, really, but she didn’t feel she owed Caroline an explanation.

“I don’t know how anyone that has experienced only one quarter of this town could come back so willingly. Is there a reason for your unwelcomed return, Cavewitch?”

“There is... not that it concerns you. I don’t come back for places; I come back for people. Now, where is Stefan?”

              “….” No way. Not happening. Caroline refused to acknowledge her. Nope. “Yes?” So she failed that.

                 Deciding it likely mutually preferable to get to the point, Qetsiyah stated her question bluntly. “Have you seen Stefan?”
