My lazy study method
- read a paragraph in your magazine and write down any of the word you arenāt sure about or donāt know
-search the definitions for the list of words while rereading the paragraph
-5 minutes social media
-test out of a subject on duolingo or just do as much as I want!
- start another paragraph and repeat
Extras!
Any verbs I write down I have to conjugate to present past and future tense

How I Use OneNote for University
Hey, all! I thought Iād share how I use OneNote, for any students who might want to use it for school organization. I have used this since the beginning of my university career and have found a method that works for me, after nearly three years.
I provide templates for what I use as .one files that can be imported into OneNote, and youāre free to use & modify them however you wish.Ā
Semester Calendar Template: DownloadĀ (.one) / Download (.docx)
Customized Syllabus Template: DownloadĀ (.one) / Download (.docx)
Cornell Outline Template: DownloadĀ (.one) / Download (.docx)
+ Outline inspired byĀ How to Use Cornell Cornell Note-Taking Method on OneNote by @strive-for-da-bestā
+Ā How to insert templates + read if youāre on a Mac
(further information in my #OneNote tag)
As a student with learning disabilities, I found that using a computer, rather than writing everything out, is the best method for me to learn. I type up notes in class so as to not worry about keeping up with a professor, handwriting, or neatness. OneNote is my favourite note-taking application for this, because itās essentially an upgraded version of Word thatās free and syncs automatically across devices. When my computer crashed, I was still able to access my notes online.
OneNote isnāt all typing. You can use it on a tablet or use a drawing tablet, in my case, to handwrite notes for a more natural feel. A very efficient way of taking notes is to import the lectures slides in OneNote and to write directly on them. I found that very useful in math-heavy courses, such as statistics and chemistry. The equation tool, while nifty, isnāt efficient.
By no means whatsoever is this the only way to use OneNote! In fact, Iād recommend you find a way that works for you, because while this may be highly organized, it takes a bit of set-up time and is tailored specifically to my needs. You can use my example as inspiration, but play around with it! The beauty of OneNote is that it can be used in a variety of different ways.

Brilliant :)
i already use onenote, but iām adapting mine according to this structure! great help šš
Secret Study Tips I wish somebody told me:
1: if youāre making a study guide: make it like youāre going to give it to somebody. I always make them like Iām going to give it to Hannah. What would she need to know? Howās the best way I can tell her this info?
2: if youāre making flash cards: donāt make ones for stuff you already know just to have a complete set of 40 or something. Make 3 flash cards if 3 quick things is all you need. Make them even for subjects you wouldnāt normally think youād need them for. Chemistry concepts are great for flash cards especially those little concept hints that help direct what is happening in your reactions etc
3: Stop after a few sections of reading and make sure you actually can recall what you just learned and summarize it. Did you actually learn it or did your eyes just read the words?
4: Spend more time on your homework each week and youāll need less time studying later. I cannot stress this enough. Do your homework the right way the first time. Actually struggle through the problems, get answers from your TA on the ones you canāt do WEEKLY then when the exam rolls around, you wonāt have 4 chapters you kinda understand and a million level 1 practice problems you need to complete so youāll have more time for practice exam level questions.
5: Make up your own study games. I love to make up flash card games when I get tired of a subject.
I need to follow #2!! I get anxiety when things arenāt ācompleteā but for my own sake I need to learn to deal with it to be more efficient cause now that Iām a junior taking all these upper division science classes I need to stay on top of my shit now more than ever
being gay before the invention of lube must have been a pain in the ass
according to my history professor this is actually a huge contributing factor to the popularity of olive oil in Ancient Greece
this is the best possible thing that i will ever learn and i thank you for that
The people of Ancient Greece loved that ancient grease
I am begrudgingly reblogging this for the first time in like four urls for this, the first comment on this post to actually make me laugh in literally years
Thereās a quote in a letter from some poor Roman stationed out in like, fucking Ukraine, basically saying itās the worst place to live in the entire world because they grow neither olives nor grapes.
No lube and no wine. WHY EVEN BE ALIVE

10.11.16// These are my Othello notes from today, and as much as I find Shakespeare hard to read I really like the plot of this play! Desdemona is especially feisty and (as @studylizziee loves) the feminism speeches are empowering šø
Good luck on the finals grind everyone! Sometimes you have to push yourself hard to be successful, but remember to take care of yourself as much as you can. I know I work myself too hard sometimes, and it just negatively affects my health and my output.
