This is literally the same Katara in The Awakening who called Aang selfish for leaving them behind to carry the burden of saving the world alone. She explicitly says she understands the world needs him, but they need him too.
And considering how deeply Katara was hurt by her father leaving to save them, it makes even less sense to claim she would have wanted Aang to completely detach himself emotionally from everyone, especially her. Katara understands responsibility, but she also values emotional connection and the people she loves being present in her life.
So if Aang had actually gone through with fully letting go of all earthly attachment (which he decided to do and was also in the process of doing it, when he was killed by Azula), Katara probably would have understood why he did it, but she still would have been emotionally devastated by it. She would not be angry that he chose her and wanted to stay connected to the people he loved. If anything, she would have been relieved, and together they would have looked for another solution⌠which is literally what happened.
