I'm unable to put into words how grateful and blessed I feel by this beautiful, beautiful artwork!

Over the past few years the server has served as a community for so many people and has fostered many friendships, creative collaboration and general fandom fun. We didn’t want this to be another thing lost to hatred and transphobia, and so after much discussion we have decided to shift the server - and this associated tumblr account - to all things fandom.

We have chosen the new name Trans Pants as a tongue in cheek reference to that age old question often thrown at us as trans* folk - and in this case the answer is community, friendship and fandom.

This community will remain a place to uplift trans* voices and celebrate trans* representation across all fandoms.

Those who are still within the Potter fandom are encouraged to continue to engage in discussion and fan works in this area, but it will now be one of many fandoms that we share a love for in this space.

We will continue to be a place for both trans* folks and cis allies, and will keep our trans-specific channels along with the general spaces within the server.

Trans Comfest 2025 - Announcement Post

We are very excited to announce that Trans Comfest is back for 2025!

The goal of this fest is to provide comfort and a sense of community to those who might have a hard time during the holidays, and those who want to spread warmth during this time!

This year we have one big change - ALL FANDOMS ARE WELCOME. Now more than ever we need trans representation, trans solidarity and trans comfort. Any fandom, big or small, popular or niche, books, comics, TV, movies etc etc etc - gather up your blorbos and join us for a bit of holiday softness.

This is a lowkey fest, so there is no hard deadline and you don’t have to sign up– all you have to do is create your work, and then post it into the collection once it’s open! The rules are the same as last year– above all, we ask for respect and kindness in both creating and interacting with this fest. Your creation must also have a positive tone, be thoroughly tagged, and contain at least one trans character. Works can be mature or explicit as long as they are tagged appropriately and you are an adult. You do not have to be part of the server to participate, though we’d love for you to join!

You can produce whatever you feel comfortable with, whether it be a drabble, a long one-shot, a doodle, a time-consuming fanart, a podfic, a collage, a fic-bind, a headcanon post… whatever you want!

The fest will run for three days and we are providing prompts for inspiration, but feel free to pick and choose or completely ignore them if you have other ideas! We will make a post closer to the dates of the fest to announce when we open the collection, but we wanted to announce the prompts with plenty of time for you to create.
