Just got off the phone with Rockstar. They said Sean MacGuire’s claustrophobic because he was locked in a cupboard by his father while the English invaded their house and killed their family. And while he was locked terrified in the cupboard all he could hear was his family being slaughtered. And as his father went to find his Fenian reinforcements, Sean was left in absolute silence and darkness in the tiny cupboard knowing his families dead bodies lay outside the door for at least hours.
