luke hughes strikes me as a guy who loves head scratches so could you make a scenario where he just constantly wants his head scratched and is sassy when she stops?
i apologize for taking so long to respond, school and finals were kicking my ass but i am finally done! also sorry for this being kinda short i’m trying to get back into the writing groove
You hadn’t even been on the boat for an hour before Luke decided to sprawl across the bench and rest his head on your lap. He didn’t need to say anything for you to know what he wanted either.
His brothers and their friends chatter around the two of you, paying no mind as you nestle your fingers into his curls— dragging your nails back and forth across his scalp gently.
“That feels good.” He murmurs, and you can feel the hum of his voice, low in his throat, against your thigh.
“Yeah?” Your voice is soft and quiet. You stop scratching momentarily, taking the time to delicately trace your fingertips across his face before brushing his hair across his forehead.
“Hey,” he says suddenly, whipping his head around to look at you. “Why’d you stop?”
You can’t help but giggle at the look on his face. “My bad.”
Luke shoots a side eye your way before laying his head back down in its original position. He then grabs your hand in his and lets it plop down back into his mess of curls.
“Jeez, Lukey.” Jack said, voice light and teasing. “Needy much?”
The comment pulls a laugh out of your friends, and even Quinn cracks a smile from the driver's seat of the boat.
Luke’s face scrunches up and you just know he’s shooting a glare Jack’s way. “You’re just jealous that you don’t have a girlfriend to scratch your head.” He quips back. His brother goes to say something else but is stopped by whatever look that Luke gives him.
Your boyfriend lifts his head slightly to drop a kiss on the top of your thigh before resting his head back down, and you can’t help but grin, letting your nails continue to drag back and forth across his scalp.
i fully wrote this at work. nothing like using company time to write fan fiction.
