Signal Box “Leaning Towards” Single Release Date - November 1, 2025 Cover art - Ilona Birrer Guitar, bass guitar, and effector pedals - Signal Box (aka Robin Anthony Coe) Recorded at home in Tokyo, Japan. Signal Box embraces a newly acquired pedal on his new single. The resulting sonic palette gives the track a fresh angle, while still retaining his trademark sound. “Leaning Towards” is inspired by a painting by Ilona Birrer, entitled “becoming”. The blue hue matches the mood of the track, and the shapes and space created by the watercolour sit well with the closing melody, as the overdrive and fuzz tones fade and are replaced by a warm bass tone. This joint effort between the two artists will be showcased in a Tokyo art exhibition called “audio visual / visual audio”. It marks the third collaboration between Signal Box and Birrer.
