I'm really sorry to say that I don't really have enough time to rp at the moment because of my exams, my job and some personal stuff. Really enjoyed writing with you all and would love to do that again when I have more time in the future.

‘ well, at least you’re honest – even though you just broke my heart. ’ the eldest sawyer said with a joking tone. he then chuckled at her next comment, giving a nod of his head as he held his hands up at his sides, lifting his shoulders. ‘ what can i say, modest is my middle name. ’ his grin still present on his face, he raised a brow and hummed softly. ‘ hmm … you’re right. y’know what ? i’m a gentleman, i say we get a coffee and some treats, too. you in right now ? ’
"Awww, poor you!", Sammy pretended to actually be sorry for him for a few seconds before breaking into another wide grin. It was obvious that he wasn't seriously hurt by her comment anyway and she simply couldn't help it but tease him a little more. "Alright mister Lance modest Sawyer - coffee and treats is it then! Lead the way!", she replied, actually glad to have some company and wouldn't need to sit around at home all on her own. Normally she was someone who found new feiends easily but after having moved to Atlanta she had spent most her time at work or at home unpacking her stuff.
❛ yeah, we should be fine, ❜ he said and grinned. ❛ and if we’re not, well, then we definitely need to figure out our shit next year and start even earlier than november, ❜ sebastian said and let a soft laugh leave his lips. but then again, that’s what i thought last year as well and then i needed to buy the last presents one day before christmas, so… ❛ ugh, god. i really do not hope i have to do that. i — ❜ he said and shook his head, before letting a soft laugh fall from his lips. ❛ i’ll cross my fingers for you, though, okay? and i’m sure you’ll figure it out. as long as there are christmas presents under the truth, i think that’s the most important thing, right? especially if you have kids in the family. ❜
"I should probably start buying presents for next already in that case..", Sammy countered with a smirk, even though knowing herself, it was probably pretty close to the truth. Even though she had started looking for presents earlier than last year, it still felt like she didn't have enough time. "No, no children. Thank god!", she stated. Not that she didn't like them but she knew that he was right and they'd be even more disappointed if she bought something they didn't like. "Soo.. what about you? Who are you trying to find a present for? Maybe I have better ideas for someone else.."
“If I knew you were such a lousy shot, I would’ve upped the money.” Jack taunted, lifting his drink from the side of the pool table for a quick sip. “I’m not even good at pool and I know I’m gonna win.” his cocky tone mixed with his New York accent was loud enough to turn a few heads. “Is it too late to change the bet to a hundred dollars?”
Looking at the other with her eyebrows raised, Sammy took another sip of her beer before grabbing the cue and returning to the pool table. Even though she knew that this was supposed to be fun, she still couldn’t stand losing and so when she managed to pocket three balls, the blonde couldn’t help but turn back around towards him with a smirk. “Still want to change the bet..?”
he let out a fake gasp, a hand laid over his heart rather dramatically as the NFL player was known for such antics. ‘ one of those guys ?? you’re hurting my feelings now. ’ the grin returning to his face as her hand slid against his, lance gripped it gently and gave it a shake. this encounter had been intriguing already and he wished he had stopped to get to know her sooner. ‘ ah, no, while my siblings and i have similarities, i’d like to think i’m one of a kind. ’ he grinned before letting out a laugh and shaking his head, holding up his hands apologetically. ‘ okay, okay, i can’t keep up this conceited asshole act anymore. ’
"I could pretend like I'm sorry now but to be honest... nope!", Sammy replied, pretending to be dead serious at first but finally grinning at him. Maybe it wasn't so bad that they had kept running into each other that often in the end. "One of a kind and very modest obviously!", she added with raised eyebrows and a smirk before tilting her head. "Soo, after literally running right into me three fucking times, I think you owe me at least one coffee as an apology!"

S E B A S T I A N laughed and shrugged, moving a hand to rub against the back of his neck. ❛ uh, do you want the honest answer to that? ❜ he said and laughed, looking at her with raised eyebrows and a smirk on his lips. ❛ you do look a little… lost, i guess, ❜ he said and cleared his throat, tapping his fingers against the top of the fence. ❛ i’m sorry, but i’m glad to see i’m not the only one struggling with christmas presents, to be honest. ❜
Even though Sammy actually didn't like it that much if someone pointed out that she wasn't good at something, she still noticed that he looked equally lost and couldn't help but return his grin. "At least I still have some time until christmas..", she stated, letting out a sigh before eventually shrugging, "But then again, that's what I thought last year as well and then I needed to buy the last presents one day before christmas, so..."
“You can’t pick that up?” Lyle’s ever croaky and tired voice followed as soon as he noticed a candy wrapper elegantly fall from a passer by’s pocket.
Yes, he was on community service again but it was all a misunderstanding. A bar brawl that got a little out of hand, his little trip on acid making him think they had been invaded by aliens and ended up with plonking the bartender in the face with a bottle of whiskey that Lyle was convinced was a healing potion. Now, here he was…picking up trash. The trash man. “Honestly, some people. Think I want to be out here in this glorious weather cleaning up after them or something. I could be jamming with the boys right now. We were gonna do a cover of Moon River.”
After a long shift the night before, Sammy had really needed a large cup of coffee this morning. So when she had noticed, that she didn’t have any at home any more, she basically had no other option but to walk to the next coffee shop. She hadn’t come really far though, when she noticed the man picking up trash and complaining about someone who obviously had decided to simply throw his candy wrapper on the sidewalk. “Breakfast at Tiffany’s hm..?!”, the blonde asked with a little smile before nodding her head at the trash on the floor, “People can be idiots! Not the ones who wrote that song obviously but you know what I mean..”
S E B A S T I A N hadn’t done any of his christmas shopping yet, so he decided to head down to the mall, to try and get a few of them out of the way. honestly, he was the worst when it came to shopping for presents. coming out of the comic book store, sebastian let the bag sway back and forth in his hands as he moved into the room. he found a couple of spider-man comics that he knew his little brother didn’t have. ever since connor was a boy, he had loved the web-slinger, so he thought it would be a good present to get for him. as he looked around, the grin on his lips widened when his eyes landed on the other. moving over to where they were, sebastian leaned against the frame of the glass fence, before turning his head and looking into the room. ❛ you failing at christmas shopping too, huh? ❜
Sammy really loved christmas, she always had. What she didn’t like though, was finding the right presents for everyone. Simply because every year it seemed like everybody around her had all those great ideas and she didn’t know what to buy at all. Just like right now. And unfortunately this seemed to be pretty obvious. “Wow, do I really look this helpless..?”, she asked, turning her head towards the other with a slightly sarcastic grin.
‘ well, i could … but where’s the dramatic take in that ? ’ he grinned even though he tried to pull a rather serious face. it was an amusing yet equally interesting occurance of them running into each other again and again and even though it happened when he was in a rush the other times, now he actually had time to stop and address it. ‘ sammy – lovely name. i’m lance. one of the many sawyers. ’ he said with a small chuckle, extending a hand.
"Oh, one of those guys hm..?!", she asked, raising her eyebrows a little while pretending to be serious but when she saw that he needed to grin, the blonde couldn't help but return it. "Well, nice to meet you Lance!", she finally replied, actually meaning what she said this time as she took his hand. And still, when he mentioned being 'one of the many Sawyers' around here, she pretended to be shocked. "There's more people who run into someone else instead of simply asking for their name...?! Somebody should have warned me after moving here!", she asked, not able to hide the hint of a smirk on her lips though.
29 years old from new haven and has lived in atlanta for 3 months . currently working as a barkeeper @ wild hog sports bar / musician
@atlanta-rpgstarters
tw: cheating
Sammy was born in New Haven, Connecticut as the oldest daughter of Allison and Edward Fitzgerald
Growing up, she always loved music and already started singing and dancing through the house at a very young age
Her big love for music also led to her not always getting the best grades at school though, despite her actually being pretty smart. But staying up late and listening to new songs or eventually starting to write some herself was far more interesting than studying maths
Begging her parents to buy her a guitar, she promised to focus on school a little more in exchange and her grades got slightly better but after finishing high school, Sammy still decided to try and focus on her music
And even though she needed to wait tables or work as a barkeeper as well, she still managed to earn enough money by playing in small clubs or bars to pay for a living
Sammy had actually been quite happy with her life - She loved New Haven, had a lot of friends there and her family was close by as well. But when she found out her mother had cheated on her dad and the two eventually divorced, it all changed
Incredibly angry at her mother and worried about her dad, she couldn’t stand just going on living the same way and in the same place as she had before and decided to start over as well by moving to Atlanta
Moving into her own small apartment a few months later, she started to feel a little better but still doesn’t really believe in true love or anything like that anymore
To be able to pay her rent, Sammy is currently working as a barkeeper at the wild hog sports bar while still working on her music

Hi y’all! :) First of all thank you so much to the admins and everyone else of frostford, who created a rp that was so welcoming and great to be a part of. I really loved writing with you all!
second of all, i’m moving over to atlanta-rpg so i’m going to unfollow everyone and refollow all the people at the new rp, so don’t be surprised.
chuckling a bit at her statement, lance shook his head as he looked at the woman who was quite familiar at this point yet still a stranger. well, might as well not be strangers anymore, after the third time this happened. ‘ yeah that’s an option. ’ he said before tilting his head to the side, lips forming into a small grin. ‘ or we introduce ourselves to each other so it’s not as awkward next time. ’
Seeing the grin on his face, Sammy couldn't help but return it. Not everybody always understood her humour after all and obviously he did. "You know you simply could have asked for my name instead of running into me several times, right..?!", she asked, tilting her head a little with a smirk. Not that she didn't want to introduce herself to him, he looked like a nice guy after all, but she just couldn't help but tease him a little. "Anyway, I'm Sammy!", she finally still said.
Edward grinned at her as she spoke. “Well, I think so,” he quipped. He smiled softly as she spoke, reaching across his desk to squeeze her hand gently. “I know, honey, I know,” he said. “I was just teasing you. I appreciate it, I really do. And you know I always love to spend time with you. If it weren’t for you and your sister, I don’t know what I would do.”
A little smile on her lips when he squeezed her hand, Sammy tried her best not to look to worried. She knew that they all had their own way to deal with what had happened, even though sometimes she still wished her dad would talk to them about it. But maybe she should give him a little more time and let the topic rest for a while. "Good, because we wouldn't know what to do without you either!", she stated before taking a look at her watch and realising that she needed to go soon. "So what about Friday then..? At 8?", she suggested with a questioning look.
“I can tell. Otherwise you’d know why I’m reluctant. It’s pretty hard to find these days. Especially in this condition,” Nipping the inside of his lip, Aidan subdued his smirk enough to click his tongue, his head tilting up in thought. “ I could sell it to you, but I only have one copy. My copy. And it took forever to get here. But– free liquor’s never a bad thing. Hmm, decisions, decisions,” Aidan said more to himself than to the woman in front of him.
Honestly? He’d already made up his mind, but stocking was mind numbing today and he hadn’t had a customer since opening. Drawin’ it wouldn’t hurt. “Ok,” Aidan tilted his head back down, making eye contact again, “Here’s my counter offer,” he patted his counter with a chuckle, “Full price, two free drinks. One for you and one for me. I ain’t a fan of drinking alone, so what do you say? Deal?”
Still looking at him with raised eyebrows, Sammy already regretted her decision to try and get this specific game. If she had known that it was this hard to get, she probably would have gone for something else but on the other hand the blonde had never been someone to give up easily. So when the man finally made an offer, she couldn't help but let out a sigh. "Alright, deal!", she agreed with a little smile, simply glad that she wouldn't need to think about a different present. "This is not going to be a date though, got it?!", she still felt the need to clarify with a little smirk.
“I mean, I’m pretty badass now. I’m just glad this town is small enough that I still get to keep my job. Not a whole lotta pharmacists in the area barkin’ up Dixie for a job.” Leo wasn’t ashamed of what they did or that they got arrested, even if only for a night. Charges were dropped and Leona was back at Dixie two days later. Going out for a drink with a friend was the perfect way to celebrate new found freedom.
“Yeah, pretty badass spending a night in jail..”, Sammy stated with raised eyebrows but the little smirk on her lips clearly showed that she actually thought this was rather amusing. Having worked in a bar for quite some time, she had seen several times how easy it could be to be arrested for something you actually didn’t do. “What did you even do anyway..?”, she finally asked, taking a sip of her drink.

“I couldn’t help you if I wanted to,” Aidan’s arms crossed as he spoke and a small grin curled the corner of his lips. It wasn’t the first time someone approached him with a ridiculous idea, but this? It was– different. “We’re slow today, so humor me.” Stroking the grains along his chin, he stepped around his counter and leaned against it. His shop had only been open about an hour and though his shelves were still pretty sparse, he didn’t feel like stocking.
“If I could do this “favor” for you, what would I get out of it?”
“Look, I don’t know anything about those games, I’m not playing any of them, I just need that one as a present for a friend alright..?!”, Sammy explained with slightly raised eyebrows. She actually hadn’t expected it to be this hard to find a simple video game for an old friend in New Haven. “You would earn some money and the great feeling to know you have been able to help someone!”, she stated before letting it out a sigh, “And we have some great whiskey at the Watering Can, so maybe one free drink..”
Edward snorted softly. “That means I’ll have to resist you on it and tell you that I’m an adult, so I can stay in as much as I want,” he said, imitating the whiny tone teenage Sammy had taken. He chuckled softly as she spoke. “Is that how desperate I seem?” he asked, smiling slightly. “You’re taking pity drinks with your old man?”
"Funny! Really funny!", Sammy countered in a pretty dry voice but still couldn't hide the little smirk on her lips, knowing pretty well that it hadn't always been easy with her as a teenager. "If you want to call it that way..", she finally added, her grin growing wider for a few seconds but getting more serious again rather quickly. "I know you're trying to pull yourself together and not let anything show but this hasn't been easy for any of us. I just thought I could spend some time with my dad, you know..?!", the blonde added with a shrug.
