I have a pet peeve,

I read a lot of manga, and one of my favourite genres is action. With that comes a lot of strong female leads who pic up the sword. But almost all of them are still skinny little things with almost no muscle at al, and most stories try to make up for it by saying “uhhh they have mana so they don’t need strength” but if that is the reason why the women don’t have muscles why do all the men have the build of a gym bro?!?

Im rereading teh remarried empress and i find it very hard to hate rashta (trashta for most) because she comes from such a hard past. It is logical that she wanted a secure place amd the emperor provides that. I think that this could have been fixed had the author not chosen for her to be an ex-slave. If she was a country noble or something alike than it would have been a lot harder to sympathise with her. And i feel like the author really wants us to see rasha as a truly evil person but it’s clear that she is desperate and I dislike how mean everyone is for her slave past

I have just finished reading Tears of a Jester and damn i hate the story

The ending was as unsatisfying as everyone expected, because the start already set it up as a tragedy. This story had two deeply flawed characters who had such contradictory values that you couldn’t help but root form both of them.

The ending was brilliant

It took my heart and shattered it in thousands of pieces

I recommend everyone to read it

I just finished reading the Hobbit and have started the fellowship of the ring, (unfortunately I have already watched the movies a few years ago) but nothing could have prepared me for how funny bilbo is, like with his gifts that he gives in the beginning of the fellowship all being a direct commentary on their bad traits. This little man has so much beef 😂

My dad promised me to watch one musical with me and now I’m doubting which musical is better from the Hatchetfield trilogy. My favourite is Nerdy prudes must die, but the guy who didn’t like musicals is of course the first instalment so maybe thats a better start… (my parents probably wouldn’t think to much of dirty girl btw, so that doesn’t have to be included for my decision 😉), so which one should i choose (i kinda hope he likes it enough to watch another one with me)

I just watched about half of the guy who didn’t like musicals with him, and he liked it more than he expected (he didn’t really enjoy a very potter musical, and expected something very similar) i hope he likes the ending 🤷‍♀️

I love that musical where the bully dies halfway, because of an accident, and then haunts their victim, and where one of the murderers seems fine about the kill, and goes very crazy. Have you watched
