hmmm… I would say he would still be humanoid, but with patches of rocky on his skin, possibly an extra arm, and echolocation on top of already seeing and hearing which probably wouldn’t be the best.
Body Horror: Things that cannot happen in real life.
EX: The Thing, stomach mouths, eyes on hands, etc
Gore: Fresh injuries, often severe.
EX: Severed leg, gutspill, deep gashes, etc
NEITHER: Healed injuries and burns, congenital differences, missing appendages, etc. If I could theoretically go to the store and see that character browsing the isles- It isn't body horror or gore. That's just a person.
*AND the amount of people that tag, not just fictional characters, but real human beings as body horror is staggering. Its not solely a fandom issue, ableism and bigotry against anyone that looks sufficiently "different" is prevalent in real life and has devastating consequences.

Wanted to be an animator > hated animating
Wanted to be a character designer > found out the actual job was more technical than I'd thought
Realized what I REALLY liked is crafting stories, telling jokes, creating moments, character arcs, and being in control > tried storyboarding > everything clicked
For my style, a lot of it was built on the backs of late 90s/2000s cartoons, comics and anime. Early Hot Topic ilk. Plus my experiences growing up in California/Bay Area, building sets for theater, joining my high school's cartooning club and anime guild, the music I listen to, the fashion I like, hanging out with friends irl and getting into drawing groups on places like Neopets and Deviantart way back when. I had a ton of teachers in high school through college telling me my heavily anime influenced art wasn't viable (false) so I started trying to do a more Dreamworks/Disney kind of thing, later trying to include some rounder and simpler elements to emulate shows like Adventure Time and Gravity Falls coming out a the time, before deciding to hard lean on the pointy shit I actually like drawing when I graduated (and is now back on trend wrow) But I think that exploration helped me find something that felt like mine vs a copy of what someone else was doing.
