I guess it’s safe to say due to this Oroville Dam situation we are no longer in a drought? I just hope those in Sacramento are safe - especially the pets. I can’t imagine what people are going to do if there’s places they can’t go to take their pets. Speaking of pets. Mine is currently cuddled up with Sean’s and it’s making me feel unloved by him. Detective Jake doesn’t love me as much anymore, how disappointing.

I’m sure your pet still loves you. What kind of pet is it?

The struggle is real when you’re broke and there’s tons of stuff you want to buy online. Stop tempting me, thank you. 

I’m always wary when I buy stuff online. But it’s always convenient especially when you hate shopping like I do. But what were you wanting to buy?

Tomorrow is going to be a sea of red and pink, more so than usual. Cafes and such packed solid with people getting crazy mushy with each other. Perfect for a night in. Have fun if you’re celebrating. 

It’s not my favorite holiday, but I do enjoy eating endless amounts of chocolate. Did you do anything for Valentine’s Day?

I can’t believe that exactly 6th months ago (6 months + 4 hours) I gave birth to Aurelie. Time flies by SO MUCH and so much has changed. Aurelie now tries to talk - it’s a bunch of blabber and spit bubbles but she tries to have conversations with the dogs which is cute and she’s starting to get her first tooth! Which really isn’t pleasant for me one bit.. Then there’s the whole army crawling thing..that started the other day actually. I laid her down on her blanket to change her diaper and she rolled her over and tried to crawl away. Then I realized Cam was there and felt like she was just trying to run away from me..

She sounds adorable, and like she could be a handful.

Valentine’s day stuff has been out since Christmas Eve it seems and I really don’t understand the holiday? Why does there have to be one specific day where you show the person you’re in love with or like that you feel that way about them and then everything is like 10000x more than it would be on any given day. If you feel a special way about someone you shouldn’t feel obligated to go out of your way just because of a silly holiday. Sorry for the rant..I went to send my grandma flowers for her birthday and the price was jacked up from the normal rates then I realized why.

Aww come on. Valentine’s day is one of the days when you can eat all the chocolates you want and not feel any guilt about it.

Nothing like the overwhelming taste of cold medicine to end the night on. Especially when paired with the full body aches that accompany the bloody virus. I really should start carrying around hand sanitizer when I go to my editor’s office. Every time I go there I seem to come back with something. Guess I’ll just stay here and watch A Series of Unfortunate Events, wishing Bones knew how to make soup. If I die, Logan is to have all of my candy.

Hope you feel better Russell. How is that show? I’ve wanted to watch it for a while, but never really have the time.

When one of the main reasons for choosing a team was based on the fact that practice wouldn’t be too far from home and suddenly you learn they want to relocate to Las Vegas. Thank you for giving me a heads up~ Oh, well. I’m just gonna have to embrace this and hope for the best. It’s all about being positive anyway. Especially when football is concerned. Thank god for the many San Francisco/Las Vegas flights out there. 

Are you going to move their permanently or just do a lot of commuting? I mean are you going to keep the place you have now, and then get a new place in Las Vegas?

I’ve been going to the gym these past few days and LORD ALMIGHTY! The soreness is strong with this one. I’ve never had such difficulties going up a flight of stairs until now. I thought about just running them, but there were too many people around me to do that, so I merely suffered in pain. I just keep thinking to myself that it’ll all be worth it soon. I hope~

Is this part of some new years resolution?

My lovely co-worker just set me up on a blind date without telling me. I thought we were going out to dinner as a group and then she and her boyfriend left me alone with this turd. I’m going to spend these next few hours drinking wine and thinking up my revenge.

What made the blind date so terrible?

Am I the only one who finds themselves measuring time in songs? Like, it took me a whole playlist to finish my shower earlier which shows I took a very long shower (I may have kept getting distracted because I would start to sing along and dance). It only took room service 3 songs to bring me the food I ordered earlier which was pretty fast in my opinion. Like, I never realized that before until just now.

I’ve never done that, but now I want to try. Does that mean you listen to music all the time?

What the hell happened to my Packers yesterday? Seriously. That game was quite the mess – too bad they couldn’t find a way to come back in the game properly. They def deserved it. Packers fan until the end though. 

Well that just shows you’re a true fan and you stay with a team through the good and bad, the way it should be.

Soooo I was watching my friends son today and oh my goodness, every time I’m with that little boy it makes me want one of my own. Not many children can give me baby fever but wow, he has. A lot. Give me one

I wish you luck on having one. I know it’s a lot of responsibility that I’m not ready for, but I’m sure you’ll be a great mom.
