I’m showing off a few Thanksgiving cards I worked on that I think came off pretty nice. Painting a turkey was a fun challenge. I like the gold foil accents and slight emboss the designer chose and how she left in the hits of peachy-pinks that always seem to sneak their way into my work. I think it really freshens up that traditional palate and subject matter! Painted with Johanna and her cheap watercolors (I think from Target?) They’re not bad if you’re wanting to try something gouache-like. I was able to get them pretty opaque and they layered ok too. #samlewis_art
