My youngest and I doing some holiday baking. With the decorating pretty much wrapped up (and myself watching Christmas movies as often as possible) the baking has kicked into fairly high gear around here. Not so intense that we don't have fun- but definitely quite a lot of baking. We do Advent Calendars, Advent Wreaths, and oh so many Christmas sweaters (definitely me most of all on the sweater front) as part of our regular celebration of the season. A recent hike in Alison Park (Englewood Cliffs) spoils you for views- like this one, of the George Washington Bridge just a few miles away. It also shows off waterfalls, stone steps cut into the mountain going up for days (seriously- no sky, just stairs, lol 😆) and holy crap tons of mosquitoes😅 Seriously pretty.
