you have to be careful reading too many things that are good/smart/well-written bc then you encounter something that isnt and you get confused like ? why didnt they just make this good ? were they stupid

really enjoying rain world on my second go. this is like if metroidvanias were good

i do also relate to slugcat, panickedly bunnyhopping past all sorts of trouble, just trying to get a solid 4 dots of food in em, occasionally having their neck snapped instantly and still having to wake up to do it again the next day...
