Practicing asanas is as much a mental challenge as it is a physical one. Mentally, we must be aware not to judge ourself or our body, but to quietly observe its process by staying present and open. By using our breath as a tool, we can deepen our practice. The deeper we get into our body, the deeper we get into the nature of our mind. Eventually, we may come to realize that the major limits we face in yoga don’t live in the body- but in the mind’s resistance.
