Hihi! I just wanted to pop in and ask:
How would the ROs + side characters react to seeing the MC eat a meal with their hands? I know that might sound a bit crazyy depending on the person, but “kammet” in Ilocano, or “kamayan” in Tagalog, is a Filipino practice that basically means eating with your hands.
I really love eating with my hands—especially with traditional Filipino food or really any rice meal—and I wanted to incorporate that into my MC since he’s also Filipino.
I can imagine Mori being interested in trying it himself, since he might think the food looks even better when you eat it that way. Plus, it just seems fun lol.

OH that's really cool! Honestly, I don't think any of them would really be put off by that since I think they'd have all spent time around certain foods that are usually eaten by hand.
Mori would definitely want to try eating it "the "your" way and isn't at all put off by it. He's a big fan of mexican food and a lot of homestyle/casual foods are eaten with pieces of tortilla instead of silverware so I think he'd pick it up quick.
Akello grew up eating a lot of beach and backyard barbecue foods so I think he'd also be completely down to try. Though I could see him wanting to make sure he's got the right technique down for more challenging things like rice.
Amir might be the least exposed to this because even if he's familiar with the food itself, he's got that barrier where he's probably only had it in stuffy restaurants and the like. He's a quick learner, however, and is very serious about doing things right when he gets the opportunity to learn something cultural like this. I bet with a little coaching, he'd be good at it.
I think Raath would be effortlessly good at it. He's familiar with a lot of Cypriote/Turkish foods and there's quite a lot that you eat with your hands.
Marcel is 100% enthusiastic about it and wants to try. Mostly likely to spill something, however, and may need extra practice.
Kazu has giant hands and will be clumsy at first but he has the fine motor skills to overcome. Again, absolutely unfazed by this and if you put food in front of both of you and didnt explain anything, he'd probably just try to mimic you as best as he could.
