#MrsDeathMissesDeath - The BBC followed this work in progress over the last 12 months and you can hear the documentary tomorrow on BBC Radio 4 at 4.30pm. 2018 was a roller coaster of touring and writing and editing the first draft of this book whilst working on the soundtrack in collaboration with Peter Coyte whilst making the BBC documentary all at the same time. 2018 kept me on my toes to say the least. The prose feeding the album and recording sessions with Peter Coyte. The album seeping back into the prose and the book. The performances feeding the rewrites and all of this steering the documentary too. What a year and a surprising and challenging way to make a new body of work. What a freedom to feel the fear and do it anyway. This programme is like glimpsing into the shed in my head. We’re on air tomorrow, Sunday December 2nd at 4.30pm, BBC Radio 4.
