That isn't positive! I mean it is impractical to say everyone is special because then there isn't a bland person to be compared to. But as long as you don't think you are the bland person, then you will live as if you are and you might very well be special! 

Yeah, it’s pretty good so far. Actually, the show kind of reminds me of Barton just a tad.

Well I am how! I don't understand how people can stand being so idle, but they do. It is interesting, but I always need to be doing stuff. Not that watching a show isn't doing stuff it is just an activity that isn't very active. I like to read though! But you can walk and read or hang and read or swing and read.

I—yes, that would certainly be something. But we can’t, unfortunately.

I don't want him to, he wants to! Well I kinda do, he loves crafts so I am sure he loves to paint. He just said to get some more stuff that can make more stuff. So I thought paint! I haven't painted in 2 weeks and I kinda miss it. I know where I got the paint before, but I checked and it wasn't there.

Weird isn't it? They usually fly toward people, you must be special. They rarely fly away from people on the ground whenever they land.

Oh, I don’t think we’re talking about the same type of piracy. Internet piracy is kind of like copying and distributing something that isn’t yours. But if anyone asks you, you didn’t hear this from me.

Oh that is kinda rude, but I understand. Yes, I understand. I won't tell any cops, I promise. Is it a good show then! Seems a risky activity for a TV show. I don't watch anything on TV, or even have a TV. I assume they are good since people praise them all the time, but I just can't be idle for long.

If only we could catch words, sadly they aren't material. I would love to have the word excellent or excellence. Yeah, I think excellence is better. I feel like it would be shiny, maybe green.

I don’t know whether it’s ironic or just hypocritical for a future-cop to be watching pirated episodes of True Detective.

Pirated? I didn't know you could loot tv shows. Kinda amazing! It does seem to be a bit contradictory, it wouldn't be wise to tell your future cop friends about this. Although a pirate cop would be very exciting!

Surely it doesn’t affect him?" he said, an eyebrow raised as he listened to her talk about the strange man who had some sort of problem with people being downside-up.

"No idea, I don't like talking to angry people so I have yet to ask. I am curious of course, I do not see me asking him anytime soon though." Sal bored quickly of the frustrating man, talking about it more would just take the joy of hanging from the tree. "You really should try reading downside up sometime. Just don't jerk your head up too fast. I did that once because a part in the book shocked me so much; I had an intense burning sensation crawl through my head. It was terrible."

Yes, it always has been! Hello hello hello! I don't think anyone here fishes or even has a fishing pole. The activity seems to be one big myth. A lovely challenge it is. [Sal remains seated, just out of the reach of the waters edge] I didn't know you were a mermaid! How interesting! I bet you get to see so many interesting fish. I love them, but I've only seen pictures and a gold fish at one of my neighbors house.

I am glad he is enjoying the wood. If you ever need any more, please let me know. From time to time there are a few small pieces left over that cannot be used. Your bird sounds more preoccupied with food then to enjoy the craftsmanship that went into it. 

It seems so yes!  It's fine, it's fine. He likes things in very certain ways so the fact that he hasn't changed any of it yet is a good sign. He does love his food though, so if you ever see brightly colored bugs those would be more important to save than the wood. Although I've been meaning to practice wood carving more so wood is good too.

And is your bird still alive, then?

Yes, yes! Of course, yes. My bird knows how to care of himself. I wasn't aware of that fact at first, but he wouldn't let himself die or anything.

This is mermaids’ territory.

I was seeing if I could find any fishers. There was no one by the docks so I am just checking all the places by the water. Do you know anyone who likes to fish? Not for mermaids of course! Just general fish.

Interesting of course! I have finally finalized my bird's indoor forest. The wood you gave me really made it more homey to him. It still has the smell of the forest and leaves attached, he loves it. I personally enjoy the rope jungle I made; he definitely likes catching beetles of the "vines" but I think that is all he likes about it.

Watching as she swung up and down, he gave a light laugh, trying not to get hit in the face by her hair-whipping. “I can see how that’d work. Are you, uh, often upside down?”

"Oh yes, yes! It is my favorite position." Sal continued smiling, it was hard not to when hanging off a tree. "I love reading upside down the best. I hardly ever read upside right. One man who works in the library hates when I'm downside up so if is working I have no choice really. I've tried hiding away of course, but if he sees me come in he looks everywhere." Despite her joyous attitude, she clearly had a tone of annoyance in her voice at the end.

That is one of the best ways to choose… You don’t ever wish for a book on something specific, then?

No, no. The only time I have picked something was specific was when I first got my bird. I read some books about caring for birds, just in case; I didn't want to mess anything up. Other that, no specifics. Everything is interesting! I rarely prefer anything over another.

Well, there’s no recorded, recognized record, as far as I know.

Well yes, but I walk around with my eyes closed after spinning around a couple times. I know where everything is, but I am very disoriented at the time so I never no what aisle I am in. That or I have one of the workers there bring me a book. Sometimes they will pick any of them up without thinking about it or they'll choose one of their favorites.
