I've been receiving a lot of commission offers from almost the first day on Tumblr, both in comments and private messages.

So, here it is:

I take art commissions, but only if you can transfer the money to my bank account, specifically T-Bank. Unfortunately, I don't have any other accounts 😔

I tried registering with PayPal, but it didn't work...

A little about the details, both major and minor, plus a couple of headcanons.

Bloom:

I changed almost nothing about her except her clothes and hair.

The clothes because I think that mesh top, that vest, well...they don't look very good. It seems to me, considering her parents' (human) jobs and how she was raised, she wears something simpler (especially since the reboot takes place closer to our time).

And the tinted ends of her hair (I think this could be played up as a Domino family trait) that look like burning flames were taken from the first "test" trailer for the reboot. I really liked that idea.

Damian:

I worked harder on him and completely redesigned him. Because... I'm not the only one who feels that they don't even look much alike as brother and sister (even though they have different character models with different styles), and the show claims they're twins.

First of all, the face. I gave him the same tinted ends and shortened his hair, making it more casual due to his job as an animal caretaker. I also tried to make the eyes and face more intimate, so that he and Bloom at least looked like family.

The clothes had to be completely changed. Considering that Damian looks after animals, I gave him a farmer's outfit and a chest plate. I'm sure everyone will agree that what he wears in the show looks more like the armor of a D&D adventurer, which is a bit out of place, since Damian isn't a warrior or a specialist, but a teenager who looks after animals.

A couple of headcanons for Damian:

  The chest plate was added because, while working with various magical animals, not all of them are friendly, so he would wear it for safety.

By the way, he has a couple of scars on his arms from such unpleasant encounters with stubborn beasts: a bite on his left hand and a burn on his right.

His clothes are always dirty because of work.

Yeah, yeah, forgive me, I'm really bad at following storylines sometimes, they're not linear, but...this seems to be my first serious oc based on some existing universe that I'm developing like this, so...don't judge 👉👈

Finally, after so much time, I've released an animatic revealing what happened to the engineer on Alzor! 🥳

I've made animatics before, but this is the first one I've posted, more complete, and probably one of my best to date 😮‍💨☺️

P.s Sorry if this is crooked, I just did it on three layers and in a... flip clip. It was only after finishing it that I realized I should download the... not quite official version, so to speak 🥲😓 because I also plan to make animations or at least animatics with it (although I do have Open Toonz 😅).

A little more context:

After the death of first her professor and then her best friend Ceros, Nova's attempt to leave the planet with the last surviving Tardoshan fails, and she finds herself back on Alzor with the only SOS beacon she had previously stolen from the mercenaries.

Shortly after, she's contacted by her last surviving colleague and boyfriend, Leox Arven, who, in a fit of panic, apologizes to Nova and reveals that their crash landing here was his doing. Someone in the Empire's military leadership suspected Adar Kaylen of aiding the Rebellion, and it was decided to eliminate him, but it was made to look like an "accident" or a deliberate provocation by the rebels.

The young man, chattering, clutching the hand severed by one of the Tardoshans on Alzor, explains that he agreed to this so that his family (of considerable noble birth and considerable wealth) would not be deprived of these resources due to their past loyalty to the Republic (after all, in such a totalitarian regime, it is very easy to seize power and money from those who, despite having changed sides, are still not entirely pleasing to the system), because Leox was accustomed to living in abundance.
