Cough of course Epel wonāt spot a girl with long pink hair trying to aim her bow at an apple for target practice what are you talking about-
(Say hello to Esther ^^)
Oh uh-
HEEEYYYYY BEAUTIFUL..
How are ya.?
Tryna flirt rn
FWOOOOOSH-TOK!
Estherās arrow hit its mark, burrowing into the apple dead-on and making it fall off its perch. She was planning to knock another practice arrow when-
āHm?ā
She simply turned to the source of the yelling to findā¦
A boy wearing heels?
Why was he here? And who was he talking to?
Thoughā¦theyāre the only two people around but-
Wait, there was a rabbit near her; maybe he likes animals too?
Thus, she points to it while facing him.
āA-Are you talkingā¦about the r-rabbit?ā
The next time Sebek and Esther cross paths, heāll find her in the forest to the north of campus. Heāll see her purple cloak she usually wears folded and on a rock, in her regular mercenary attire. Appears sheās looking for something!
āN-noā¦.not long enoughā¦.t-too brittleā¦.ā
From the few stocks he sees near her, it looks like sheās looking through different sticks!
Sebek saw the girl searching for sticks. At first, he thought that it was odd that someone like her would be searching for sticks of all things.. Then he remembered something.. He mentioned something of sparring with sticks the other day.. wooden sticks.
" HUMAN! YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR THE WRONG STICKS. "
He exclaimed. There were these special wooden sticks made just for sparring .. And Esther decided to find wooden tree sticks. It was so hilarious Sebek could only laugh on the inside.
One moment she was holding up a stick to inspect itā¦
and the next-
āGAH!ā
Sebekās yelling startled her, and the noted stick broke into pieces while in her grasp. By instinct her hand went to the handle of her sword, but when she turned around to face him, a relieved, albeit miffed expression grew on her face. Just Sebekā¦.not a monsterā¦
āI-I thinkā¦.the whole o-ofā¦.the islandā¦c-could hear youā¦.ā
But back to the topic at handā¦
āThe wrongā¦.sticks?ā
She had gauged the use of sticks from her training memories, nonetheless Sebek recalling what he used for trainingā¦
Considering he was planning to teach her, maybe he had some more insight.
āC-can you show meā¦the sticks, then?ā
āHmmmmā¦.ā
Esther had been hearing strange things regarding the pirate crew that recently docked on Sage island. Sure people could see them and mingle with themā¦but she found it odd that the new c-a-m thingies couldnāt pick up their presence. Asā¦if they wereā¦
She shook her head at the thought. They were only rumors so farā¦but to find the truth, maybe she could ask them?
āUmā¦e-excuse meā¦first m-mate Ruggie?ā She remembers the first time she encountered the non-pirate version, let alone of his recent troubles. But maybeā¦
āMay I a-askā¦you a question?ā
āHm?ā
The hyena tilted his head toward her, then he cocked it to the side a bit as one hand rested on his hip.
āWhatās up?ā
The glint of the seashells distracted her a little, but the smell of sea salt from his attire brought her mind back to the forefront, let alone what she wanted to ask.
ā¦time to see if ends up being a dead endā¦or if it would bring a new clue to the forefront.
āBefore youā¦C-Captain Leonaā¦and the r-rest of your crewā¦c-came to Sage islandā¦do you r-rememberā¦what dayā¦monthā¦y-year it was?ā
Esther may have only recently learned how to tell time, butā¦maybe it could bring some answers about why the crew donāt appear in the photo-technology-stuff.
āHmmmmmā¦.ā Esther was in awe at the amount of jewelry present in the shop, the beadwork, the different lengths and patterns⦠but that wasnāt what eventually caught her eye.
It was the paintings that hung *above* them. Each painting looked vibrant, colorful; they almost reminded her of Libraās own paintings.
Libraā¦
ā¦.Chromā¦Frederickā¦Lissaā¦Robinā¦
ā¦Annaā¦
A crack of sadness marred her curiosity.
āā¦ā Will Iā¦be able toā¦see them again?
(Donāt mind Esther feeling a lil out of place/homesick)
"Probably. I'm sure we'll find a way to send you back."
Jamil pats her back.
Jamilās tome seemed reassuringā¦but-
One moment she was reminiscingā¦the next?
Her eyes widenedā¦her instincts took over.
Laughterā¦
Screamsā¦
Redā¦
Bandages-
Her hand caught Jamilās wrist, facing him instead of her back. Her grip firmā¦but he can feel her shaking.
āDonātā¦.touch meā¦ā
Estherās words were not of pride, nor were they filled with rageā¦
Instead they bled fromā¦pain, fearā¦.
like a wounded dog desperate to protect itself.
A deep breath was had before she let go of him, her eyes filled with worry and fear. Guilt.
She stepped away from him, careful to protect her back as she moved.
āI-Iām sorryā¦ā

The next time Sebek is at Diasomniaās dorm gate, heāll see a long, pink haired girl with a purple, long sleeved cloak and arm and leg armor (?) there. It looks like sheās looking for something or someone, and in her hands is what looks to beā¦a letter?
Sebek notices the odd girl in front of the gates. Why was she just standing there ominously and not coming in? her arm and leg armor stood out since no student ever goes into NRC dressed like that.
He then saw the odd letter placed in the girls hand. Jumping into a conclusion that the letter was for Malleus he immediately approached the girl.
" YOU! HUMAN! What business do you have within Diasomnia? If you are searching for Lord Malleus, he is busy. So run along now. HE DOESN'T HAVE TIME! "
Sebek says with a stern tone. Clearly looking down at the girl.
His initial yells were fineā¦but now his yelling was giving her a bit of a headache.
She stood still despite his accusations, taking a deep breath to focus on her words. Suspiciousā¦.she wasnāt sure what was suspicious about delivering a letter. There was no sign or stain on it to suggest it had already opened or was tampered with. Come to think of it, she remembers one thing Crowley put on the letter.
āHe didā¦n-not tell me much. Butā¦he only told meā¦th-that it pertained toā¦th-the next Housewarden meeting. Umā¦.ā To tell or not to tellā¦well, if he was examining the letter, then he might as well; Naga knows she wouldnāt try and mess with it. āCrowley also said thatā¦.sh-should anyone except forā¦th-the Housewarden in questionā¦tries to open th-the letterā¦they would find themselvesā¦.cursed, s-stuck on the groundā¦no matter where they areā¦u-until the next dawn!ā

Sebek says with a stern tone. Clearly looking down at the girl.
So far so goodā¦.
The masked bird man had given Esther a small, albeit unusual task: deliver one letter of great importance to Diasomniaās housewarden: Malleus Draconia. Crowley didnāt go into detail as to what was in the letter, but as he was āoh so kindā he noted that letters were the best method to try and communicate with him; phones were hopeless, and the other messengers had either been scared away by Diasomniaās members or they lost the previous letters. Thus, the task fell unto Esther of Y-Ramshackle.
Though she had never delivered messages before back in Ylisse, the task seemed simple enough.
The mirror into the Diasomnia dorm didnāt bar her from entering (maybe due to the seal on the letter belonging to Crowley?), and-
āWoaahhhā¦.ā
The castle wasā¦intricate. Many spires looming over her, colored in vast deep grays, tints of blue, and glowing evergreens coming from their long windows. If she wasnāt trying to complete a task, she might have stopped to sketch it. But alasā¦
A sharp yell stole her attention instead. Green hair, green eyes and a cross expression.
Noisy. Loud. Somewhat familiar.
Come to think of it, Esther remembered seeing him yelling at someone right after she came out of the coffin.
But thatāsā¦neither here nor there, and his yelling would not deter her. Sheās seen and heard far worse.
āSo youā¦.a-are a member ofā¦this house.ā The fancy uniform he wore already showed it, let alone his yelling.
Some respect was had in trying to protect him.
But to answer his questions and exclamations though, she flips the letter in her hand, showing Sebek the wax seal that bore the Headmageās insignia. āH-headmage Crow-ly has tasked meā¦.t-to deliver this letterā¦.to the H-Housewarden of Di-a-som-nia, n-noting that it wasā¦.o-of great importance.ā
She remembers the masked bird man noting it was of great importance that the Housewarden would be on time for the next Housewarden meeting.
āButā¦If he I-isnāt here right nowā¦.can you m-make sure to get thisā¦l-letter to him?ā Thus, she gently holds out the letter to Sebek.
Esther isnāt familiar with Jack, let alone his UMās wolf form.
Butā¦
āHow did a wolf get here?ā
She grows concerned for him.
She knows this school is full of magic. Butā¦
Was this wolf a normal wolf? Or were they a shapeshifter, like a few heroes from her motherās taleā¦the Legend of Radiance?
Either way, she decides to carefully back away a few paces. Not to run, but to give the wolf some much needed space.
[The wolf stares. Its ears are pinned slightly to the side, its body rigid and poised-- not quite aggression, but wary as it assesses the other.]
[It growls, a low, rough sound from the deepest part of its throat. Strangely enough, you get the distinct impression it's saying something remarkably close to 'Whaddya' want'.]
They growledā¦but they didnāt approach. Now Esther was even more confused. And yetā¦
Their growls were strange. Not hostile or shy like Esther had seen with past wolves.
But if it was a shapeshifterā¦thenā¦
Taking a deep breath, she decided to take a chance.
āA-are youā¦f-from the campusās forests?ā
Maybe the answer to it could lead her in the right direction!
The next time Trey will be at Heartslabyulās entrance, heāll see someone thatāsā¦not part of their dorm. She has long pink hair, a purple long sleeved coat andā¦gently holding a hedgehog?
āUmā¦e-excuse me?ā
*Trey's attention immediately diverts to the unfamiliar person*
Uh, hello? Do I know you?
*He then notices the hedgehog in her hands*
An unusual situation with an unusual creatureā¦
The strange blue creature had been sniffing around where Esther had sat in the courtyard, caught while it had munched on one of her apple slices.
ā¦It didnāt seem harmful thoughā¦she thought, just curiousā¦just like she was about them.
She was patient, gentle as she took the creature into her hands, and careful as she took it to Crowleyās office.
The masked bird man recognized the creature as a hedgehog, let alone one from the Heart-slay-bull dorm. But instead of taking the creature and returning it (as he was ever so kind), he had Esther make the errand to return it.
Andā¦well, here she was. Everything around her pink, white, red, or greenā¦heart shaped, rose shapedā¦at least until she had got the attention of someone green haired.
What was his nameā¦Tree? Tray?
āIā¦I donāt knowā¦ā
Oh wait! Why she was here!
āUmā¦I apologize forā¦intruding. But I foundā¦this little h-hedgie inā¦the courtyard.ā Thus, she gently holds up the pink hedgehog, careful not to stress it out, āB-butā¦the masked bird man said itā¦c-came from Hearts-la-bull. And, umā¦d-do you recognize this little one?ā
If Ruggie heads to the Spelldrive fields, heāll see an unusual sightā¦or rather, an unusual looking guest: a young woman with long pink hair, a purple long sleeved cloak, and a sheathed sword(?!) and a bow strapped to her back. She seems to be watching the spell drive players practice with deep curiosity! (Yes hello though I might throw you Esther X3)
Huh..? HEY! You! Whoāre you!?
Flying broomsā¦
Estherās attention drew on the brooms, let alone their players for a solid while. She didnāt understand how the game worked (Crowleyās paltry explanation didnāt help) but seeing them in the air like it was nothingā¦
Would Robinā¦have been ableā¦to do that?
Alas, the sound of a new voice interrupted her thoughts. She turned to the sight of his unhappy expression.
āUmā¦.E-Esther?ā Though growing uneasy she adds, āM-may I askā¦for yours?ā

Happy Pride Month, fellow beans! ^^
Yumna will hear a quiet knock from the Ramshackle dormās doorway; if she looks to see who it is, sheāll find a short young woman with long pink hair, a purple long sleeved hooded cloak, andā¦armor and a sheathed sword??
Her head turned towards the noise and they got up from the couch to investigate. Upon opening the door they would see the girl and immediately gain a puzzled look on their face.
How did she get past security with a sword ?
Who knows.
" May I help you ? "
Esther wasā¦a lil miffed, and seeped with worry.
The masked bird man āhead-mageā had no idea how to get her back to Ylisse, and he had been been āso kindā as to have her stay at NRC until she could go back. But the more steps she tread to get there, the more she felt soā¦uneasy about the situation.
Ramshackle, as he called it, didnāt look run downā¦but she noticed there was light on the inside of itā¦maybe she could set up camp next to it?
Noā¦
She glanced at the few tombstones scattered in its yard, If I do thatā¦then Iād risk desecrating the deadā¦
And how many were there beyond the building? Sheād look later. But for nowā¦
A deep breath. A few careful steps up the entry way. And thenā¦
She knocked.
She was surprised to find a young woman standing before her, not of the dead, but of the living.
She seemedā¦nice. Did she live here?
āU-um, helloā¦.ā Deep breath⦠āSoā¦th-the strange bird-masked m-manā¦told me I-I couldā¦stay at a placeā¦.called Ramshackleā¦u-until he can findā¦a-a way home for me. Umā¦.ā
Her hand left the grip of her sword, in favor of holding the ends of her cloak,
āI-is thisā¦the right place?ā
(In that caseā¦crossover wise, I hope you like Fire Emblem? X3 fair warning, itās been a bit!)
Tmpā¦.tmpā¦tmpā¦
It had been a few minutes since she had appeared out of that strangeā¦.boxā¦no, coffin from the hall, addled out of her mind and with a headache to show for it.
It had been moments since she left that strange hall, the strange mirror, unease stirring from howā¦quiet it was. Late at night, yet no guards of any sort were around like she was used to seeingā¦
It only made Esther all the more wary, instinctually putting her hand on her sword hilt.
Another few, tentative steps.
Was this place forā¦bandits? No, nothing seemed worn downā¦for ghosts?
Too dark to tellā¦butā¦
Where in the world did Anna teleport her to??
Turning one of the corners as his hand brushes against his eyes, he stops a few steps away from her. Lit candles flicker, sparks flicking together as they light the surrounding place and cast shadows across the walls.
"Ah, you are the person who said they were not meant to be here," he says, voice as quiet as the night.
From what he knows, it was new for someone to claim to not belong here. To not be part of this world; to be from somewhere else. Though, there was alway something going on, so he cannot say it was entirely surprising.
Good. The bird masked man was gone.
But that only left Esther withā¦a deeply growing confusion, nonetheless a lot of questions.
She had been expecting something veryā¦different than what had happened. Hostility, mostly, to be driven out or attempted to be silenced.
Do cults act differently here?
Her guard wasnātā¦fully down (unsure if it was due to instinct, familiarity, or due to habit), but compared to when she initially ran, she found herself rather unsure of where her steps should go nextā¦or what she would find.
Butā¦.her gaze turned to Silverās hand reaching out to her. Openā¦invitingā¦a choice.
Too many questions in her head, one thatās been bugging her ever since she got out of that box-coffin.
Butā¦how to start it. āIā¦.ā
She would not take his hand quite yet. āWh-what didā¦..the b-bird man meanā¦when he keptā¦.c-calling me a stew-dent?ā Her evergreen gaze met his auroral colored eyes, āIs thatā¦a t-titleā¦.or role of sorts?ā
(In that caseā¦crossover wise, I hope you like Fire Emblem? X3 fair warning, itās been a bit!)

The bird manās words, claims she was a student made Esther feelā¦confused, uneasy, but growing into guilt when he focused the blame of her getting hurt on Silver.
ā¦she didnāt know what she was a student(?) forā¦but Silverās apology feltā¦unwarrantedā¦yet sincere.
He did not strike her, nor was he the cause for her getting hurt. He had answered her questions, kept his distanceā¦while she tried to climb a tree with breaking branches and got hurt from falling.
Why should he apologize for that?
ā¦her grip slightly loosened on her knife.
āY-you donātā¦n-need to apologizeā¦ā
The bird masked man was surprised by her words, āOh? But surely you would take his offer to help?ā
ā¦to which Esther shook her head.
āI-itās notā¦warrantedā¦if he did n-no wrong.ā Her gaze lowered to her feet, āHe didnātā¦hurt me inā¦the first place. I-if anythingā¦he was j-just helping meā¦before you c-came.ā
At first glance, the bird man (Crowley) lookedā¦somewhat unsatisfied, but Estherās expression did shift his next words a bit. āWell, if our new student has found no issues, then it has been deemed so. But this-ā he gestures to Estherās ankle, āstill wonāt doā¦ā With a flick of his magic cane/key(?), Esther felt something cold, then warm on her ankle. A gesture from the bird manā¦did she want to stand on it?
Uneasy as she looked...she did put one foot down; no pain, or at least most of it was blocked offā¦but she could move, er, somewhat like this. āDo try and not run off on that ankle again or the healing will be left undone.ā
Crowley then turns back to Silver, āAs you were so kind to help (and I am an ever so kind mage), I will have you lead her to the infirmary once Orientation ends. Are we understood?ā
(In that caseā¦crossover wise, I hope you like Fire Emblem? X3 fair warning, itās been a bit!)

Dorms? Headmage?
Howā¦strangeā¦
Keeping his space instead of getting closer. And backing awayā¦when he could have attacked her.
The mention of the headmage made her furrow her brow, trying to picture who Silver was talking about; and at the mention of the nurse-
āAh, hereās our missing-What in the Great Seven happened here?!ā
Speak of the devil, so he shall come. Though in Estherās case, she was surprised to find the strange bird masked man appear before them both.
āJust as I started my own search for our missing student, as Iām ever so kind, I find her brandishing a knife against one of our sophomore students. And if that isnāt the worst of it, sheās injured!ā
All Esther could do was wince, tempted to plug her ears from his loud ranting. The bird mask man was waaay too loudā¦but his dramatic way of speaking reminded her of someone.
But before she was able to speak on her behalf, the strange makes bird-er, Headmage turned most of his attention to Silver. āDo you have anything to say for yourself?!ā

(Itās been a bit since Iāve RPād in earnest, but here I go!)
āWoahā¦..ā a whisperā¦one of awe she hadnāt held in a long while.
Everything wasā¦blue here. Light blue, dark blue, everything in between.
Every shade andā¦.fish and many creatures she had never seen beforeā¦swimming all around her outside of this strange tunnel. No brigands in sightā¦goodā¦but her hand was to her sword hilt, just in case.
The path echoed underneath her boots, and her long purple cloak/jacket swayed behind her as she tread this strange path.
To where? Maybeā¦.maybe somewhere that could help her find Anna.
But the end did not lead her outside, nor back to the surface. Instead it led her toā¦a darker room? Filled with strange glowing lamps, sat upon tables that fit more in line with nobleās home.
She could still see some blue to her left, the glass giving her a view of more creatures gliding within the water.
Butā¦.she couldnāt read whatever was written or printed on the signs.
Where in the world was she?
(Say hello to Esther! ^^)
Usually Azul prefers the solitude of his office, though with a decline in contracts lately, he had been forced to pick up a shift or two. He doesn't mind though, as serving customers and picking up orders brings back fond memories of when he first started this establishment.
"Quite a crowd we got today," He noted. "I supposed I might need to put out an advertisement for a new waiter and- oh."
A person stepped into the lounge, who was decidely not one of the numerous NRC students Azul had gotten great lengths to memorize, nor one of the regulars from Sage's Island. What's more, she seems to be mesmerized by the deep, undersea tones, the low hum of the people enjoying their meals, and the soft lighting from the sea around them.
Good. A potential customer. Straightening his tie, Azul offered her his signature smile. "How may I help you?"
The animals gliding in the water and the soothing music in the air led Esther to feel a sense of peaceā¦
But the sound of footsteps coming towards her broke that peace.
He looked a tad taller than her, silver hairā¦haunting blue eyes hidden by glasses, adorned in a purple and grey suit, a grey scarf, and a hat with a purple shell. The shellā¦
Memories of Estherās time on the beach with the Shepherds came to mind, both clearing out the risen there and the vacation that came afterwardsā¦
But this wasnāt the beach; it was somewhereā¦underwaterā¦and compared to the vacation homes there, this place feltā¦intimidating somewhat.
Still, he did ask if he could help herā¦maybe he had some answers?
āWellā¦ā How to word thisā¦
āW-What isā¦this place, e-exactly?ā¦ā if anything, to Esther it looked like an upper-class tavern.
(In that caseā¦crossover wise, I hope you like Fire Emblem? X3 fair warning, itās been a bit!)

Silverā¦of
āDi-som-ia?ā
Estherās vigilance bled into confusion at his, Silverās wordsā¦let alone his concern.
Notā¦wantingā¦?
The robed Silver wasā¦strange. The robes back in the hallā¦were they not part of a strange cult? Or maybe it was because she was injured he decided not to strike?
She was rather hesitant to make any conclusions than beforeā¦butā¦he looked too intense for Esther to relax her caution, at least fully.
The mention of her fall made her purse her lips, thinking; If she wanted to get out of here, she needed to keep moving.
āI-Iām fine.ā
She still held her knife as she attempted to stand again (one hand on the trunk for support), keeping an eye on him as she did so. Silver would notice her going at a slower pace than her first try.
Standing? Good; Esther was relieved that she didnāt feel dizzyā¦but a pained expression bloomed when she tried to put any weight on her left ankle, quickly shifting it to only standing on her right one.
Better than nothingā¦
