Hey fellow reggae music lovers, Élan Atias and Daniel Bambaata Marley will be at Saint Rocke, Thursday, September 18th! Show starts at 9pm, doors at 5pm with Happy Hour specials till 7pm, and tix are $12 available at www.saintrocke.com.

Reggae certainly plays an important role on Elan's debut, which features a unique combination of the young singer-songwriter's musical influences -- heavy on the island sounds and rhythms, but also incorporating elements of classic American R&B and soul; Fela Kuti-inspired African rhythms; and even '80s new wave pop like Depeche Mode and The Cure. Élan has been playing professionally since 1997 alongside The Wailers and Carlos Santana to name a few. It took him about a decade to come out with his debut album, Together as One, but Élan wanted to make sure he did it right. He signed with Interscope and had Tony Kanal (No Doubt) produce it.  Élan’s album reached number seven on Billboard’s Top Reggae Charts.

With a long and successful career dating back to the early 90’s, Fuel is back and touring with their 2014 Puppet Strings World Tour. Although there are new faces, Brett Scallions has been back for a couple years now since taking some time off in 2006. Puppet Strings marks the first album in 10 years with frontman Brett Scallions. This will be their last show in Southern California, so all of you Fuelies better get your face time in while they’re still here!

Tyrone Wells has been successfully singing and writing music for a little over a decade now, his music can best be described as rock/pop/soul/acoustic. Born in Washington, Wells made his way down to California for college and stayed for good, making a career for himself with his acoustic guitar. He’s worked with songwriter and producer Martin Terefe who has worked with Jason Mraz, KT Tunstall, and James Morrison. Terefe knows talent and if he says Tyrone Wells can make it then he must be amazing, I mean he has over 50 placements in film/tv including “American Idol,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Odd Life of Timothy Green,” “Something Borrowed,” “Vampire Diaries,” “One Tree Hill,” “Private Practice,” and more, very impressive.
