Eddie’s death was the saddest fucking thing. So heartbreakingly unnecessary.

You know when it’s okay to run? When you’re being chased by a million monster bats.

And this darling, adorable piece of floof went full on Last Stand in the middle of the street.

Look, there were cool moments. Sure. Watching El slam a helicopter full of shitheads was a treat.

How-the fuck- EVER:

❌ After the scene at the cemetery with Max, which was lovely and touching, why did we get a whole ass scene NOW with her confessing that part of her was happy that Billy died? I get it, I get that she’s feeling like shit for wishing it sometimes and it’s like 90% survivor’s guilt and unresolved issues, but it still seemed so unnecessary to rub in. I feel like it was used as an excuse to tie up a few loose plot threads.

❌ After building it up so well with the cemetery scene, there was zero follow up or reconciliation. Max’s well-earned victory from earlier in the season has been stripped away and what’s left is a broken, soulless husk in a hospital bed.

❌ Why was it completely glossed over and forgotten that Billy saved them? He’s still treated like a hundred percent a villain, while Brenner gets to die like that after everything he’s done.
