Even Incubators can confess to being blinded, at times, by the mystery that is human emotion. Truly, the scientists had amassed an enviable collection of subjects here. The light from their beings flared like errant sparks from a blazing fire, flashing and glittering like so many gems. Jewels in the rough, everywhere he looked. A veritable paradise of candidates. Who, who to pick next? 

Perhaps that one would do. A female in the height of her youth. A flower amidst the weeds. Blooming beautifully even in the refuse of the city proper. Lost in general, or just lost in thought?

Lost, perhaps, but not to him. To him she screamed opportunity, and Kyubey was always up to the hunt. He closes in on his latest prey, and pauses to take a better look.

§ I am Kyubey. What is your name? §

Neither a heart of steel nor a will of iron could hide her softness for what was typically cited as childish (for good reason ): Gundams, power suits, yoyos, plushies, laser guns... on and on, could this infantile list go. She hid it as well as she could, having only glimpses of it appear when she was taken off guard or if the situation allowed for a bit of silliness. Now was one of those times. Surrounded by only a handful of people whose only concerns were their own personal life, she approached this strange creature in the only way she could: Unbridled glee.  ✿ "Well, aren't you the cutest little thing I've seen in this city!" The Best could hardly keep the squeal from her voice. She bent down and smiled down at the cute fluffy animal, resting her chin on her hand.

✿ "My name is Shigyo Kuniko..." Could she pick him up and twirl him around or was that considered rude to his species? Her fingers were tingling to at least pet him.... but perhaps she should wait to hear him out first.

She remained her cool composure despite the rather strong desire to jump and down and squeal like a giddy schoolgirl.

     ✿ "... As amazing as that sounds, I doubt an Orca would be of much use on land. Wouldn't it be difficult to move around?" Unless she was a pretty remarkable size. A quick transformation and reformation meant squashing your enemies would only take a bit of aim. And the thought led to her next inquiry, although it also came with a small blush to her cheeks. 

     Warily watching the other’s movements— oh god that was a hole in the wall wasn’t it— he was more than ready with his BB gun rifle already in-hand.

     And he was just as quick to fire as well— aiming a few shorts towards her face and upper torso, like planned. Regardless of whether he hit, however, he was already on the run.

Cheater, cheater, make 'em a bleeder...! She shook off the pain and started after him, the stinging jolts where the BBs hit their mark only prompting her to run faster.

       ✿ "Simple, I know. But the best plans are. I used to represent my city state in territorial disputes and I know the importance of numbers." Well, not really. She did all the work while the Rest would just cheer her on. But even they had their occasional bouts of usefulness that could not go ignored. And she wasn't at full power to even attempt a solo-gig. 

     Straight to the point— frankly, he’s not really caring for this freak’s tone. Actually, he’s not caring at all for anything she’s saying, really.

     This was not something he needed right now.

     And if she wasn’t willing to listen… well. All he had was a tragically pitiful rifle (if you could even call it that since all it shot were these small shitty bullets) that he was carrying around with him. They wouldn’t pierce any torsos, but maybe if he hit the right spots they could at least leave a decent wound.

CRACK! After the small cloud of flowered shaped dust cleared and the crumbling pieces of concrete tumbled away, a small hole was greeted by Shigyo's puffed up cheeks of exasperation. What happened to her craters? Her power that could toppled a row of buldings?
