feeling fragile and raw tonight. I want - no, want is too strong of a word - I feel the urge to self-harm. I've been thinking of self-harm more in the last week or so, perhaps because I have a lot of stressful things happening right now. Preparing to move and start a PhD program, while also dealing with my dad's birthday being on Monday & a few days later, the traumaversary of being sexually assaulted, AND my chronic pain & depression....it's just a lot.

It's making me miss (?) the feeling of self-harm. Or perhaps more accurately, the feeling I get right after I self-harm. A sharp calmness.

I know that going back to self-harming would be bad in the long run, and I don't want to do it, not really, so...I'll just blawg about it and try to distract myself.
