I’m the new mod here on this blog. I’m Onyx and my main blog is here @khara-chan I’m 22, have BPD, genderfluid as well as use they/them pronouns. I live in Kansas so I’m central time.

personally, I would ignore them or tell them I’m not comfortable with what they do, therefore I do not want to rp with them. even though you don’t agree with the bad stuff they do, rping with them anyway may make you look like you tolerate the activities they do. their morals are already pretty messed up if they’re doing gross stuff, so I’d rather find someone else to rp with instead of having a gross rp partner.

send We have seen an increase in harassment and bullying after the creation of this blog. We have even seen accusations that we personally are sending or encouraging harassment. We feel that it’s important for us to address the matter now.

To get this out of the way right off the bat, we absolutely DO NOT APPROVE OF SENDING HARASSMENT IN ANY WAY, particularly if you’re doing it under our name. We aren’t trying to be self-righteous here, we don’t believe that we have any sort of moral high ground, and our goal was never to change minds or cause a massive shift in the JoJo’s fandom. The goal always was and always will be simply to network blogs that want to be part of this and give them a place we’ve compiled blogs to make them easier and more accessible to find.

Nor do we try to “keep strict watch” on the blogs that we have added to our list for infringement. First off, it’s unrealistic to expect that a couple people could be surveying so many blogs like a hawk. Second off, If there are ever issues with people we have accepted, we trust people to take their own initiative to unfollow. Again, it’s never been our goal to police content. In addition, people ask to join the list of their own initiative. We DO NOT look into blogs that have not requested to join, and we don’t attempt to control the content of people.

We’re also more than willing to have a dialogue! We answer asks and respect any wishes in the ask to respond to it privately (though our anonymous is off due to harassment), the mods listed are open to messaging, and we are responding to pointers and tips where we can. Which leads well into the last point I would like to address.

We heard grievances and criticism surrounding Mod Boom. We have been listening and discussing the matter after hearing people voice their concerns, and they have since been removed from the mod list.

We feel like a considerable amount of this conflict can be addressed by our FAQ, so we highly implore people to read that. It saddens us that our intents have become so misconstrued by some people, and we hope to avoid future problems. If anybody is receiving harassment on our behalf, link this to them and let them know that we personally disapprove of the proceedings.
