Abbacchio with a med school student GF:

- Being in the line of work that he is, Abbacchio is quite protective of his girlfriend, almost always having an arm around your shoulders or her hand in his when you’re out together.

-He feels very responsible for keeping you safe.If he notices someone suspicious following you, he’ll try to knock them out quietly with his stand without you noticing to keep you from worrying.

-Hands down the most dedicated boyfriend you could ask for.

-He isn’t one for grandiose dates, preferring the more simple outings, like lunch at a local trattoria, a movie, or, if you’re interested in races, taking you to the occasional Formula One race.

-At home, he lets himself relax a little bit, moreso when you want to cuddle with him. That’s when he’s at his most relaxed (even though his face might not show it as much as he’s feeling it).

-One thing he enjoys doing in your down time is painting each other’s nails. It may sound cliche, but it’s very calming to him, to take turns holding each others hands, rhythmic brushstrokes painting colour onto fingernails as you exchange small talk about whatever comes to mind.

-When you tell him about your plans for the future and the career path you’re aiming for, he admires your resolve, and will support you as best he can.

-Having had his own dreams shattered in the past, he hopes that you’ll be able to keep sight of your reasons for joining the medical profession and find success.

-If you need to study, he’ll offer to help, be it by quizzing, reading, or other methods.

-If he ever falls ill, he’ll trust you more than anybody to take care of him. He knows you well, and he knows he’s in capable, loving hands.
