Ned Stark was not honorable; he was a coward. One who was fine with his sister marrying an abusive philanderer and ready to allow his daughter to marry an abusive sociopath.

Ned Stark wasn't against infidelity. The main reason he wasn't sleeping around like most of the men around him is probably because he was too scared/shy to talk to women. Not because he saw anything wrong with sleeping around.

The fact that Ned fought in that rebellion to remove the Targeryens but not for an independent North is one that that continues to baffle me. Your brother and father are dead, but you're fighting for your sister's fiance to be king? To continue being under the Iron Throne? Why not declare an independent North but remain allies with the Iron Throne?

Why just the classics? Jason canonically reads everything. I HC him as someone who reads whatever he can get his hands on, be it is children's book, finance report or science journal. He is well read.

He has been shown, right from his Robin days that his knowledge is broad, way beyond romantic literature. We saw Robin Jason talking about dinosaurs in the cave and we also saw him joking about being "stronger than the economy". That's a child that reads more than romance novels.

Despite how beautiful the decorations in the Great Hall, none of it compared to Malfoy under the shimmering lights.

Harry is loathe to admit that he is not the only one who has noticed. Hogwarts students know better than to approach Malfoy for anything without an invitation but the visitors had no such issues.

The only consolation in watching them fall over themselves to court Malfoys attention tonight is how bored Malfoy looks. Harry relishes the feeling of knowing Malfoy is having an even worse ball than he is.

That feeling, however, lasts until Malfoy notices him staring. Their eyes meet from across the room and he holds Harry's gaze for a moment, a wicked gleam in his eyes as he turns back to his current companion– a boy from Beauxbatons.

Malfoy laughs at something he says and touches him on the wrist. The boy lights up at that, not that Malfoy notices, his gaze already back on Harry. This time, the glimmer in them feels like a challenge.

Never one to back down, Harry rises to his feet and starts towards the pair. Someone who had been standing next to him says something, a hand grabs him but he barely notices. Malfoy's companion is getting bolder every passing second.

By the time he gets to the pair, his mood is as dark as the night outside. “Hey mate,” Harry says, stepping between the pair and blocking the boys view of Draco. “Come.” He says, taking Malfoy's hands and pulling him away without waiting for a response.

He doesn't know where he's taking Malfoy, or what he plans to do when they get there, but none of that matters as they make their way through the crowded hall.

“If you're a monster, then what does that make me?”

“What?”

“I asked, if you're a mo–”

“I heard your question!”

“Then answer me.”

“Why would you even ask me such a question?”

“Because I want to know if that's what you think of me too.”

“No! Merlin no! I would never.”

“Really? Who do you think monsters fall in love with? Innocent little boys? The ones they have to worry about breaking and corrupting? Or other monsters like them who they never have to fear for?”

“That's not– that's not the same thing at all.”

“Isn't it?”

“I–”

Harry feels a bolt of lightning travel through his spine at Draco's giggle.

Draco is giggling.

Giggling.

He has heard Draco make all kinds of sounds: snickering, cackling, jeering, even chuckling, but he has never heard Draco giggle.

The sound is fragile and precious. It is his new favorite sound and while it may be too soon to tell, Harry feels like he is about to be addicted to it.

Pride unfurls in Harry's chest as something flutters in his stomach at the thought that it is he who pulls the sound from Draco.

He drapes an arm over Draco’s shoulder, hand settling at the nape to draw him into a kiss, swallowing the rest of Draco's giggles.
