today I saw a girl who was very clearly gay so I not-so-subtly shifted my posture and flannel so that it was *very clear* that I am Not Straight and looked over at her and we both just very slightly nodded at each other sometimes I love being gay

queer book review- just finished girl made of stars, I’d give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars. basic plot: girl has an on-off relationship with her ex gf, dealing with that as well as a serious accusation against her twin brother by one of her other friends and she’s stuck on who to believe. it’s written well, but there’s a lot going on that I’d want to see more of separately. still recommend it though, there’s a lot of great themes and some genderqueer rep :)

so I’m on my school’s tennis team and we just got our uniforms- stuck between ‘this is really cute, it fits my body well, and makes my *assets* look good even if I don’t really care for them’ and ‘why is the skirt so damn short, this is just another example of adult men running the clothing industry being pedophiles’  AS WELL AS ‘sdkfjdksjlfdj pretty tennis girls look good in these uniforms’

I read somewhere that staying up extremely late at night is a symptom of multiple mental illnesses and even emotional abuse sometimes- basically, a lot of people do it to claim time to exclusively themselves that they can’t get during the day... late at night when everyone else is asleep is the only time we get to be truly alone.
