my favourite conspiracy theory is that Someday you will ache like i ache

i really like the idea of byler living together before getting together. having borderline freak-outs watching each other do basic chores because of how domestic it is. cooking for each other. tea and medicine when sick. wearing each other's clothes but pretending they don't notice. sitting on their balcony and talking. coming home drunk from group hangouts and parties together. sharing a record collection. filing taxes together. picking up the phone when each other's family calls. taking turns getting the mail. all the while thinking about how easily they could spend the rest of their lives together like this, living together, a life together. maybe one day they'll sort it out. maybe they won't (they will).
