Recently I began rewatching Ferngully: The Last Rainforest (1992) and thought that Crysta would be fun to draw in my style which is more realistic and detailed than the cartoon.

HARVESTER
I recently played 'Harvester' which is an old-school adventure game -- I'm delighted to say its going up there with Loiste Interactive's INFRA as one of my favorite computer games of all time.
Its the perfect combination of horror, surrealism, and mystery (very Lynchian). Its also surprisingly philosophical at times and the lore is very engaging to uncover. I strongly recommend it to those who are into horror and/or old-school games.

I will love this movie forever as it got me into the fantasy genre as a whole and I have never looked back. Other ones as well like The Goonies, Labyrinth, and all those Disney renaissance classics really shaped me as a person.
Agony
going through my old Tumblr account and privateing 99% of the embarrassing bullshit on it has been absolute torture. My art was soo bad back then and overshared sooo much of my opinions and personal life. The fact that ALL of it has been public for years is just horrendous. I am just in shock at the things I PUBLICLY posted. Like fair enough I was 14 in 2023 and life was absolute dogshit so I wasn't really all there to be like: 'hmm, maybe people don't need to know this about me'/'hmm, maybe I shouldn't flood my favorite medias' tags with really self indulgent fanfiction & artwork that nobody but me will like'
Part of me wishes I could go back in time and ban my younger self from social media, but I swear to god, tonight I have learned my lesson.

I love how this piece captures an ancient moment in time, but the women retain styles very reflective of what was popular in the 1870s. Their robes and hairstyles remind me of 19th century fashion plates and it is blended so well into the ancient setting.

I literally just got through this very moment in the Two Towers book a couple days ago and was so deeply moved by it that I had to mark it down. The way Sam weeps over Frodo's hand upon realizing he may be walking to his death; beautifully tragic.

Hook (1991)
Hook has to be my favorite interpretation of the Peter Pan story ever. Spielberg and the fantasy/adventure genre go hand in hand so well and this one in particular was so well-casted.
