Kipling (Dealer's Spouse)

As I sat down on a nearby marble bench, he sat down next to me, my large form dwarfing his body. He may be big and large, but a divine being as I is much larger next to even a tall mortal human. Then again, when you're next to a divine-like being, you cannot help but feel small and vulnerable.

'My my, I can feel your heart's mad thumping, nervous sir knight?'

"Nervous? No, I would never feel nervous next to you your holiness...although, I do feel..."

I knew what he felt, but I could never speak of it out loud here, far too many eyes and ears to know what goes on between us. I hadn't even noticed it was morning until my dearest knight had informed me he needed food.

After we had our food we visited the nearby village to see all the shops and amenities they offered. We returned to the castle to freshen up and readied ourselves for the upcoming ball tonight. I, however, as being divine and angelic needn't any expensive gowns or any jewelry (at least for approval from others at a simple ball).

'Oh my, no helmet for the ball? Are you not worried about how they will look at you?'

"I am never worried when am in your presence my love"

Not long after we attended the ball, and we danced graciously like how life and death dance forever on the edge of each other. How life forever brings new beginnings, but for those beginnings to exist, death must take that life away to make room. As such, life cannot exist on its own, as can death exist on its own.

'I am honored to see your lovely face tonight. It's very... cute' My voice coming out softly yet firm.

"It is my pleasure." His voice rough but gentle, how his hands have hurt others but held my body with such care, as I was a perfected marble statue that would break on impact.

'Although, I am quite jealous that others get to see your face too. As my body only gets to be seen by your eyes only, I alone may get to see your face, understood?'

'As you wish, your holiness."

As the night wore on, the dance concluded and as we finished I told him to meet me in the gardens. Of course he accepted, he always does, and I ran off once we departed. I found him moments later in the greenhouse, anxiously awaiting his arrival.

'Out of all the flowers here, you are the best my dear knight,'

"You took the words right out of my mouth."

"You are my bright shining star that pray to every night."

'Because I alone give you your strength to fight'

But even a immortal capable of giving strength and power to live, must leave to attend to other duties.

'Sir knight, I must depart. Do not fret, I will write to you.'

"As well as I, I feel my strength waning. And I will read whatever send towards me."

A whole day and night to ourselves, ignoring the other royalties and knight's as we continued our love's embrace.

"Goodbye your holiness."

'Goodbye, my knight.'
