The Homestuck EpIlogues are fuckIng GOATed and I'm tIred of pretendIng otherwIse
They're extremely well-wrItten, fun pIeces of fIctIon that contInue the story of Homestuck pretty damn well. LIke, when I wanted a contInuatIon of Homestuck, I wanted somethIng that acknowledged how a lot of them never really got to resolve theIr traumas from playIng Sburb and how a lot of potentIal character development never really happened (thanks to the retcon). They're awesome contInuatIons of the story and I hate that they're as controversIal as they are. Thanks to the EpIlogues and Beyond Canon, I can actually see these characters HEAL from theIr traumas rather than just escape the narratIve forever and just lIve a happIly ever after wIth zero consequences of never beIng able to properly grow up.
Ig Candy can be a bIt much for some folks and DIrk beIng evIl Is pretty sad, but the story Is stIll GOATed and well-wrItten. Idk why folks are dIsmIssIng these great works even now when we should've mellowed out on em
